Regarding sa convertion most nilalagay sa bighorn ay yung pang pajero gearbox yung gearbox okay naman ang problema yung pitman arm weld yun mostly minsan hindi mo halata ang pagkawelding. Yung pitman arm yun ang madalas bumibigay. I've seen once at marami na naka experience niyan kaya better check mong maigi at much better palitan mo kasi ikaw ang nakasakay dyan. Hindi mo alam kung kailan bibigay better gastusan mo nalang.

I would like to second Nap's thoughts on ensuring the conversion was done right. iwas ka sa welding kung pwede. kakatakot yan. else palitan mo dapat ng orig power steering gearbox at pitman arm. I also drive one and its good for keeping. ave ko is 7.5km / liter mixed city/hi-way driving.

Your 2003 Trooper is using a 4JX1-TC engine.

As for the 'setting' required, I'd say any major repair (specially if change engine), you'd need to use the Tech 2 gadget. From my knowledge, only authorized ISUZU dealers have this. Maybe some guys who had major repairs on their Trooper's 4JX1-TC engine could validate this.

I am still at a loss where you could buy a cylinder head or whole 4JX1-TC / 4JG2 engine. Blumentritt may have the cylinder head (40k according to SQ). And whate he meant as "SARIWA", would mean used but still in very good condition.

thanks again sa advise.. noted na un pitman arm.. experienced man un tao k kausap and i discussed it with him na. pag ma turn over sa akin i'll have it check by other person.

maaus nman un kausap ko and sanay sya sa convetered kya ayus din. re sa EFi na kit, kakausapin ko pa din sya. di nman siguru mhirap ikabit.. ask k na lang kayu uli about it.

syanga po pla. ipapa re paint ko kasi... anu b mgnda, black or gold? gustu ko ksi un me pagka elegante

Between both colors.... BLACK (hands down). Gold per se, is what I call "Niche" color. Namimili ng may gusto. Black is classic, timeless and elegant all in one package.

Of course, the only setback is dumihin at gasgasin.

For 4jg2 bighorn engine hindi naman mapili kahit anong oil like castrol, shell etc. okay lang for oil filter yung pang for 4jb1 bilihin mo since yung bighorn is different from trooper local 4jg2 oil filter kahit VIC brand oks na only for 300- 350 pesos ayus na sa suking auto supply. 6 liters of oil ang change oil ng bighorn syempre palit din ng oil filter. every 5KM or 6 months which ever first.

pero pag malapitan lang takbo nag shift naman..

Already done change Tanny fluid ang cleaning of Filter..
