    What is the extent of the damage to the cylinder head?

    Your other option is to buy a gas V6 which is very cheap conpared to a diesel then lagyan mo ng LPG, dream project ko yun. Sa Ebay UK may binibenta dati na kit para sa gas trooper kaso wala naman akong gas engine.

    Somewhere in QC. nasa shop nung mechanic.

    parang mahal for a cyl. head alone.

    sq; punta ka lang banawe. sa may kitanlad area. tapos lakad ka lang dun. tabi tabi sila jd salvador, big thum, baltak, etc. canvass ka sa kanila. ke baltak ako nakakuha ng toyota cyl head 2 weeks ago.
    pwede rin sa blumentritt(dun naman ako nakakuha ng injection pump). nagtanong din ako dun. depende sa dating eh. minsan mura minsan mahal lalo na kung alam na kailangang kailangan mo. sayang kung napaaga ka, binenta nung kaibigan ko yung 4jx1 nyang makina ng 30 thou lang(less the starter and alternator). btw, na PM ko na yung cell ko sayo. kung sa banawe ka punta txt mo ko.
    or pwede natin ask yung kaibigan ko kung nasa kanya pa yung 4jg2 nya(stuck up piston). baka ibenta lang sayo ng mura yun.

    txt ka lang, minsan busy minsan hinde. me tinatapos ako project kaso wait ko na lang matapos ng electrician yung bagong wiring.

    hello need your help mga expert.
    pansin ko lang di nag shift yung 4th gear ko.
    it happen when i witch overdrive off.
    then after overdrive on yun na..
    wala naman po error sa panel.
    pano macheck po..electrical,vaccum..etc

    need your help..

    [SIZE="4"]BINGO![/SIZE] You answered your own question. Overdrive (OD) [SIZE="3"]IS[/SIZE] 4th gear. That is why some (me included) turn off OD when overtaking --- to give the necessary power and momentum needed. Sometimes, OD is turned off when declining a steep road --- to serve as engine brake.

    Below is a picture taken of my Trooper's shifter. Notice that it only has PRND2L. D-3rd; 2=2nd and L=1st. OD (when turn on) is the 4th.


    Some vehicles has PRND32L or PRND321. These type of AT shifters [SIZE="3"]DON'T[/SIZE] have an OD.

    No need to worry my friend. It's the knowledge of it's purpose you're missing.

    mga sirs good day! new here sa tsikot! help naman mga guru! i was cleaning my engine bay, natanggal ung mga vaccum hosses, now, dont know where to put it back, baka mag ka interchange

    Basic would be (as previously explained), when OD is off (3rd gear) the you turn on the OD, it's suppose to shift. Another way to determine is if you your OD is on, upon reaching 80-90kph, it is suppose to shift to 4th gear.

    If everything fails, better let a trusted technician check the OD switch. It might be shot.

    I believe I already read this in another thread.....

    As suggested in that thread, have it checked by a qualified technician or at the least, take a photo of the engine bay showing the vacuum hoses that were detached. Let us see if the ISUZU experts here could help and guide you reconnect the detach hoses.
