the only downside is we find the space at the 2nd and 3rd row a little cramped compared to our CRV.

2nd row seat is just ok IMO. just the right height and legspace.spacially if you'll recline the back rest a liitle. Fortuner is higher though. even 3rd row is comfortable enough if seated at the middle.

boys, saw few photos of VC....siguro lamang lang niya sa Santa Fe is size and engine. unless dalhin dito yung 3.3L V6 Gas SF . di ko nga lang gano type yung front grill.pero di ko pa kasi nakikita yung buong exterior at interior pics. pero mas malala yata yung fake wood trim niya sa baba ng dash.

i saw the product brochure..the VC kicks ass tech-imbued, and I thought it'll transform into a robot when the headlamp sprayer came out of the bumper ...on some angles, the front kinda look like the Cayenne...
regarding the interior finishes, daming selections..i just hope those applies to Philippine options...we'll wait for the pricing nalang..at least this gives another option besides the already good SF...

Santa FE top speed- 195kph at NLEX. ( still begging for more)
i've driven a Fort 3.0 d4d, but was longtime ago(2005), could'nt remember how it compares to SF.

may nakapaglagay na ba ng "stepboard" sa SF nyo? anong type? gaya ba nung pic sa baba (plate-type)?ganito sana gusto kong look, with the rear spoiler. i have the same color in 'gun metal', pati tint style, rear at passenger lang meron.



sana inilabas sa pinas yung color "gold" gaya nito. heto priority color ko sana, pero ala. ganda sana with black interior.

Just 2 days back, I brought my family to Hyundai Alabang to see for themselves the SF on display there. I did the test drive on black SF pero paikot ikot lang sa labas at loob ng vicinity nila. Intresado si kumander sa Gun Metal 2.2CRDi and planning to buy it by mid-march(kulang pa yung pang-cash e).
I had a talk w/ the SA-Mr. Nonoy and he gave me some freebees..
-free rain gutters
-Free LTO registration for 3yrs.
-Free Back-up sensor
-matting
-3M tint
I'm still demanding a stepboard sana. dahil mataas yung SF at mahihirapan pumanik yung mga kids at parents ko.

Yung 2.2 CRDi variant po ay napansin ko na driver side lang ang may Airbag. Parang downside yata yun sa SF ah. But in general, SF is better than the Fortuner.

Mga Igan, pwede na ba itong deal na ito. I hope to join your future club soon!

Like I've said on my previous post (kalimutan ko na which thread)...meron ding ilalabas ang Hyundai na mas malaki kaysa VC probably an 08 or 09 model, read it on car magazine na its up against the Full size SUV's here sa US with V8 engine siyempre. Na spy shot nga dito sa California desert being tested, sayang hindi ko nai-scan yung magazine para nai-post ko dito.

It's suppose to have a twin turbo 5.9L V8 with 7 speed automanual transmission and four rows of seating to compete with the Suburban.
