*number001: yes, that's correct. You can tumble the 2nd row seat from the right side. I guess it must be the other side for RHD versions.
*MRC23: yes, projector na po yung Low lights nya. There are several who have upgraded to HID already.

HID is meant to be installed on projector type headlamps..that's why in most countries, it's illegal to upgrade or install HID to non-projector type specially on reflector type. Nakakasilaw talaga sa oncoming traffic, which is really dangerous. In europe, it has to have auto-levelling sysytem. Well, sa atin naman basta japorms wala paki-alam kung unsafe or makadisgrasya sa iba.
brightness wise, i think projector has better intensity as it focus all lightrays to appropriate direction.
I had upgraded my SF and it's worth it.

Thanks sir. Answered mo na pala ung question ko in your previous post. Question po uli. hehehe. What brand po ung projector lens ng Sta Fe and clear po ba ito or fresneld? How about its performance with HID installed? Maganda po ba ung cut-off nya? Dami noh. Sori. TIA
hIntayin natin sir yung mga nag-upgrade sa HID. Di ko pa nakikita kung anong brand yung Projector nya e kasi di ko pa nabuksan assembly nun. Ano po yung fresneld? Accdg sa mga nag-HID, maganda naman daw (since all you need in an HID is really a stock Projector anyway).
Thanks Horsepower. A fresneled lens has a circular texture on it rather than a clear one.
dear hyundai sta fe owners,
question lang po, yung instrument panel ba ng sta fe ay optitron gauges din?
kamusta naman mileage ng crdi Fe?
gauge not optitron...
mileage ko on my crdi...city driving is around 7 ...i got 10 when i drove to baguio....
Diba optitron na yun?
Anyway, city driving: 8-9km/L
City+Hwy: 14Km/L
Note: i drive fast because i can handle a fast car.
not optitron...optitron means gauges lights up even when headlights are off...then if you turn off engine...you wont see the gauges...toyota ang optitron...
ang gaganda naman ng mga mileage nyo...inggit ako...i dont know how you guys get 9 in city driving.....best i got was 8...pero halos lang trapik yon....normal for me is 7....
Hi guys. Newbie here.
Just a question to owners of a Sta. Fe. I noticed last weekend that when I make a FULL turn, either left or right, I would hear something underneath the front cabin. Am not quite sure if it is the wheels rubbing on the inner engine covers (fenders??) or some other moving part in its break-in stageMine is 650km so far.
Just wondering if any of you have experienced this as well. Aside from that, everything's A-OK so far.
Hope to receive feedback from you guys.![]()
TIA
Haven't noticed anything like that yet, would try to listen closely :-)
thanks for the inputs sirs...
i really like the sta fe and currently persuading my father to buy this suv... but on second thought, parang namamahalan ako sa sta fe at 1.52M for the crdi version... may automatic stability control na ba yung crdi?
to all CRDI santa fe owners, what made you say na worth it yung 1.52M in terms of features and specs?
gsto ko lang maenlighten fully para tuluyan ko ng ipursuade father ko on that hehe.. yaw ko kasi pag sisihan namin na bumili kami ng sta fe.. and btw, kamusta naman service ng hyundai? are they competent enough na pwede sila talgang pagkatiwalaan...
wow...1.520 na ba...parang i got mine at 1.450 lang last yr ah...must be inflation....
bottom line for me is that i was comparing this to the fortuner....the 2.5ltr d4d engine of the fort is so much more inferior compared to the sta fe...horsepower rating was something like 110 vs the 150 of the sta fe (considerinng the displacement is 2.5 (fort) vs 2.2 (sta fe)...plus of course the ride comfort...test drove both vehicles...fort definitely built for off road...which i dont treally need. Sta fe is built more for on road driving..kaya much better suspension...
As far as service is concerned...well you must be abit choosy. My experience is that not all service centers have the same level of efficiency...some dealers dont have complete equipments to handle the service...take for example hyundai shaw...they dont even have the computer box to check the on board computer of the sta fe...I had to go the hyundai c5 to have them check it (i had them activate the speed sensing autolock kasi - can you imagine hyundai shaw...walang computer equipment to do this!) Anyway, at least hyundai c5 was kind enough to do this for me for free...
like what chuaa said, comparing to the fort 2.5 which i did too, better naman yung santy. But for you, what car are you comparing it with?
Anybody here upgraded anything on your santy's already. Well so far I got HID's.. Was thinking of upgrading my speakers first para wala problem with warranty (plug and play lang). Just asking people out there if you have changed anything on your santa fe already.
worth po talaga hyundai CRDI. all the while, I thought Santa FE lang ang matulin manakbo (like gasoline) sa CRDI line-up ng Hyundai. this made us decide to risk another CRDi unit, a Hyundai Starex.
it paid off. ka-test ko lang kanina sa NLEX yun new Starex namin, I must say, halos pareho ng performance ni Sta Fe. all the while, I thought the van body will be a problem sa speed.
d'best Hyundai CRDi!
so sir u mean to say sa hyundai C5 lang ang may complete equipments for most service needed for the sta fe? ang pinakamalapit na hyundai samin is abad santos... i think they just opened very recently and pag napadaan ako dun parang ang linis pa hehenext na malapit i think is e rod and q ave na.. anyways thanks for enlightening me
