    Guys,

Approved na Car Loan ko and one of my choices is the Sta Fe Diesel. We plan to use this to travel to our province of Leyte once a year so we really wanted a 7-seater SUV. Yoko lang sa Sta Fe is that there is no luggage space once you unfold the 3rd row seat. Isa pa is the tendency of the rear wheels to squat when loaded and I don't think we will be comfortable with that with the 30-hour+ travel to Leyte. May option ba sa casa na i-double pivot ung rear wheels para di mag-squat pag loaded na ung car?

Anong branch ang may magandang deal para i-refer ko ung bangko ko don.

di ba self-levelling ang suspension ng santa fe? i don't think it squats, but i haven't seen a really loaded santa fe to tell it squats.

the Santa Fe has a self leveling suspension, this means that no matter what the load is it will always stay level...

If you are a family of 7 and of big built, then luggage space will definitely be a problem. However, if you are just average sized and you still have kids in the family, the SF is actually very spacious you can fit in 4 people in the 2nd row (although not that comfortable on long trips), then you only have to unfold half of the 3rd row and use the other half as luggage space. Otherwise, your only option is to get a van because even the full sized SUV won't give you enough space when all seats are used. The new Grand Starex, for sure, will solve your problem.

    pj2000,

Thanks for the response. A Van is too big na for us. SUV lang talaga gusto namin. It is just that my parents go to the province yearly and that we plan to use the car on this occasion.

Have seen a Sta Fe na medyo loaded at kumakaripas sa Legazpi St., Makati. Napansin ko naka-squat sya. This was about 3 weeks ago. A squat rear wheels for a travel time of about 30hrs will make me feel uneasy for the car. Baka masira suspension.

    Cheers.

TFR thanks for your inputs, that sounds logical to me. Maybe I'll get a paint protect service nalang. Sayang din kung mag fade agad yun color ng Superior Red dba

Do you guys have any feedback as to which company has better service (Ziebart, Valuguard or SAVI). TIA

yup bigbert is better. Mas mura pa. Have mine done there. Ask for the New Car Paint potection program, they will use the klasse twins. cost about P1200.

Sorry to dampen your spirit sir TFR but the santa fe included in the test had traction control and side curtain airbags which unfortunately are not standard features sa santa fe models released here

My SA also said so, may factory rust proofing na nga raw kaya ang advise nila is to have it rustproofed after a year. Ang rustproofing naman talagang nire-renew yan every year by applying a new coating. I checked the under chassis of my SF and may coating na nga yung mga metal parts which are susceptible to rusting so there's really no need during the first year.

    Guys,

Yikes.

    Ok with regards to:
    - Package and Discount
    - Servicing and Warranty Claims

But if you want to avail of Zeibarts lifetime guarantee rust proofing you need to have it done within 5 months of purchase... what are the advantages of this? It is cheaper in the long run... Initial outlay is more expensive but your annual checkup will cost not more than 500 pesos... unlike others which charges about 5k but then guarantee is only for 5 years and you still have to pay annually bet 2k-3k for putting rustproof again...

Although the Santa Fe has a factory rust proofing this is usally still not enough...

Sir Yuichi, I would really love to join this EB, ang problema ko lang talaga is time because of my work which is in laguna and medyo late na madalas ang uwi ko. Available time ko normally is on the first and third saturdays of the month, wala akong pasok on these days. So, whatever time and place ang mapagkasunduan, I'll just try my best to catch up with the group. I'll send you my no. thru pm.
