The great thing about Santa Fe's low beam headlights is those are Projector type already so di masisilaw yung mga kasalubong mo.
Question: on a slight incline, with the gear stick at N, kaya ba ng Foot brake nyo i-hold yung car para di mag-roll? parang medyo light kasi masyado yung brake nung footbrake nung sa amin. Papa-adjust ko lang if ever.
Thanks
guys...im really desperate to have this rear spoiler( or visor).
do you know if they are available outside hyundai, as my SA said they can't fit it to the unit.![]()
The Santa Fe looks good as it is but will look better with the rear visor. I myself want to have one. I'll do my searching myself yuichi and I'll let you know if I find something.
How many of you guy's got their Fe's installed with an HID headlight? How much did you get it for?

Autobytel recognized the Hyundai Santa Fe as the "SUV of the Year" for its 2007 Editors’ Choice Awards. Hyundai earned two additional victories in the "Best New Midsize SUV" and "Best New Minivan" categories for the Santa Fe and Entourage respectively. Awards were distributed at the 2006 Los Angeles Auto Show.
The fourth annual Autobytel Editors’ Choice Awards is a listing of the best new 2007 vehicles on the market, comprised by a team of veteran automotive editors. The Hyundai Santa Fe unanimously beat its competitors in both the "Best New Midsize SUV" and "SUV of the Year" categories by offering a new, sleek and sporty design coupled with a luxurious interior
at an affordable price. The Hyundai Entourage rises above the competition for title of "Best New Minivan" with its smooth and powerful 250 horsepower ride, interior features and flexible trim levels.
"Hyundai is honored to take home three awards from Autobytel, a top consumer resource for expert vehicle information," said John Krafcik, vice president of Strategic Planning and Product Development, Hyundai Motor America. "We’re especially proud of Santa Fe’s honor, as it bests all SUVs and crossovers across all price ranges, including terrific competition such as the new Honda CR-V, Ford Edge, and Mazda CX-7."
The Hyundai Santa Fe meets consumers’ demand for safety, style and performance. All Santa Fe models are equipped with segment-leading standard safety technologies, including a total of six airbags, active front head restraints, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Brake Assist and Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), and
Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). The 2007 Santa Fe also offers a choice of two clean, fuel-efficient V6 powertrains in 2.7 and 3.3 liter, along with an optional third-row seat that significantly expands Santa Fe’s market appeal.
The Hyundai Entourage offers an unprecedented combination of standard safety, comfort and convenience matched with a powerful engine and outstanding quality backed by Hyundai’s 10-year, 100,000-mile warranty. Entourage earned the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (NHTSA) top five-star crash test rating for front and side impacts and the
Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s (IIHS) highest honor — the gold "Top Safety Pick" award — the best rating ever for a minivan. Entourage is also the first vehicle with the Hyundai Hideaway(TM) third-row seat, a simple-to-use 60/40 split fold-into-the floor seat offering flexibility for up to seven passengers.
Hi everyone.
Just wondering, magkano ba ngayon ang used (2006) na Santa Fe? With Hyundai's bad resale value, can one be had for 1.1M?
magandang pagkakataon nga sana kung meron magbenta ng kanilang santa fe at that low price..
but with the recent accolades won by hyundai, not to mention the very impressive reviews made by, i'd say, professional car enthusiasts, i doubt it if santa fe owners in their sane frame of mind will let go of a remarkable piece of equipment for such a bargain low price
imho, a worldwide paradigm shift in favor of hyundai is well on the way..
good luck searching though, for such an opportunity..
sorry po at :offtopic: but maybe you'll have better luck finding such a bargain low price on a toyota with an infected d4d engine
and i hope that the recent set-backs and recall problems currently haunting toyota won't crush their so-called invincible armor of reliability or is it already?![]()
Toyota's been having problems for over five years, already, and nobody gives a f***. Even the vaunted Corolla has had its share of missteps, including a sludging problem on US engines due to the long service interval (sludging=overhaul=$$$$) despite the fact that the engines were designed for long intervals already (like many modern Hondas... local Fit/Jazzes already follow the 10k interval). Of course, some things are certain... locally, with our unholy short service intervals (which make a lot of money for the casas... sneaky sneaky), the Corolla is still a rock-solid car, despite being as old as Solomon.
But the same can't be said of some of Toyota's other cars... D4D scare or not. Locally, people don't really care... Toyota could sell Norkis Legacies (they already sell Daihatsus... i.e.: the Avanza) and people would snap them up like crazy.
RE: resale values... that's an interesting question... I'll start looking at the papers.

Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
got my sta fe programed for auto lock na (speed sensing)!!! buti pa hyundai c5 ...completo sa equipment..di tulad ng hyundai shaw!!! ni walang computer to check and program the unit!
Bry, the car is just more worthy than the bucks we spent . i have'nt heard any unsatisfied owners so far and i dont know is if there's anyone. more on if they are willing to sell their month-old SF with its superior performance.
unlike the fortuner, i know somebody who traded his fort for a sorento just 2 mos after purchasing it, cant take the ride....ala pang SF non, and he's not the last. even my churchmate is thinking of trading his unit after testdriving my SF.
basta pag ala na pede paguspan....resale value n naman.![]()
Hi Guys!
Bought an issue of Top Gear and there is a review of the Santa Fe. The review is good (18/20) and by reading it, I'm really convinced to get it instead of the RAV4!
I hope my wife will like the Santa Fe too. If she agrees, we'll make space in the garage soon!
Well, that's the only drawback sa Santa Fe.
I was wondering kasi sooner or later, someone, somewhere will have to sell his unit (Santa Fe) for one reason or another.
When that time comes, curious lang ako sa magiging resale value nya. Example lang ha, the Hyundai Coupe is for sale at 1.3M to 1.4M, brand new. I saw a couple of 2004 Coupes for sale at some used car lots for only 700+K. Bargain talaga. Kaya ako aabangan ko yung mga slightly used na Santa Fe.![]()
kung nabangga yun santa fe or may matinding damage na ayaw ipaalam yun owner, puwede naman talaga ibenta ng mababa. kahit half-the price pa.
the fact is up to now, wala pa nagbebenta ng used Santa Fe. that alones suggest na satisfied ang owners. unlike the Fort, may mga nagbebenta na.
and mostly d4d's.
now regarding the gas version ng fort, I highly doubt na mataas resale value nyan. yun pajero nga na d-gas bagsak din eh. same with the tiburon na obviously gas-guzzler.
RE: Hyundai Tiburon: The only Tiburon available locally in 04 was the 2.0, not the V6, and those cost 1m back then (ngayon lang nagtaas masyado), so 600k isn't terrible.
Plus, as said, it's a gasoline car, which brings the price down, and furthermore, it's technically a midsize car (like the Accord, Camry, Cefiro), which brings the price down further.
I'd expect the Santa Fe to hold on to its value as well as or better than the Starex.![]()
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
No doubt. No one in his right mind would sell his Santa Fe this early. UNLESS dahil sa financial problems. This is what I'm wondering about. WHAT IF someone desperately needs money NOW and FAST, magkano kaya ang bentahan then?
