I hate to do this......

I had no personal disaggrement with Mr Amrit as a customer,in fact i sealed my lips for almost half a year since my bad experience with his LA Cars shop.

He is very accomodating and very professional to all customers,even the shop's area were excellent.

But his installers were not
i used to go back to his shop weekly for back jobs
got some scratches on dash
no tuner signal
subwoofer power on and off
very poor wiring installations
speaker wiring used on rear camera
loose HID sockets conversion


btw that black SF above is mine taken last Oct.



I do not recommend LA Cars to my fellow Santa Fe owners...

I talked to two SA's this afternoon from different dealers, the best offer so far for a 4x4 CRDI unit is PhP 1.613M, with the standard freebies of matting, 3M tint (windshield inc) and cargo net. The insurance is PhP 36T+ and registration is PhP 9T+. The unit according to the SA will be available nxt week, btw it's a white one. What do you think?

Share ko lang sayo Sir yun deal na nakuha ko sa unit na nailabas namin last wednesday lang. 4x4 SF CRDI Black - 30k discount, FREE 3 years LTO, 3M tint, floormat, net, rain visor, undercoat (aside from the HARI undercoat - checked it & dinoble nga nila. Fresh pa undercoat when we took the unit sa casa. Kaka-undercoat lang daw kasi nila the night before nailabas unit. ), 35k insurance - 3 mos. PDC. Hiritan mo pa Sir baka madagdagan pa freebies.

1. Speed sensing door locks enabled?
2. Certificate to operate LTO

thank you so much sir tiboyx3m! di ko pa nacheck yung locks wala na banggit sa akin yung casa sa j.abad santos ask ko sila sa monday. LTO naman ok may binigay silang certification or permit to travel. la naman me lahi indian,gagawa ako paraan para makapunta sa eb next saturday sa WTC. hope to see mga santa fe nyo super sa ganda para magkainspiration ako para sa santa fe namin.my wife like it so much baka nga sya madalas gumamit nun malamang baka aveo sedan gamitin ko papunta office. hehehehehe!btw ano nga pala ok n tire pressure ng santa fe? We got our santa fe (s. red, 4x2) two days ago (from hyundai pasig) and would like to thank all of you for your informative posts and recommendations. All of the infromation posted on this and related threads helped me and my family in deciding to get the vehicle.

Maraming Salamat po ulit.

P.S. I tried to locate Maspro yesterday but since it was so busy (along banaue), I decided go back some other time. Tanong ko lang po-yung tindahan ba ay along Banaue mismo (hindi sa mga side streets)? Katapat po ba siya nung hospital (on the right side of Banaue, if youre coming from quezon ave.)?

sa simula parang may napapasin akong kakaibang tunog bukod sa maingay na ang tunog ng engine may kakaibang sound during revs
nung dinala ko sa casa para sa 15K checkup ayun narinig din nila ang unusual sound parang may sumasabit sa moving parts so di nila madiagnose ang prob kasi kailangan daw ang HARI ang maginspect at saka sila gagawa ng hakbang, so inuwi ko muna kasi may appointment sa cavite
habang bumabyahe pansin ko hirap nang mag 120 at nung umuwi ako hinanap ko ang specific RPM kung san lumalabas ang tunog na parang may sumasabit nasa 1,800-1,900 rpm stable ang tunog na sumasabit
so iniwan ko na sa casa yung unit last friday, abang abang ako sana minor lang ang problem
ang problema dito kung yung pyesa hindi naka stock naku matutulog ang unit dun sa casa sa pagantay ng parts, advise narin na di gamitin ang unit baka lumala pa ang prob,
abang abang nalang

Na check ba ng casa ang hoses, clamps and air/fuel filter?
I'm referring to page 41 of this thread.

Btw sino kausap nyo sa Global? Hintay ko rin replacement ng side mirror/door ng SF ko. Sabi ni nels end ng March daw dating ng parts.

Kudos to HARI and Hyundai Dasmarinas!

3 weeks ago I had my regular change-oil done done at hyundai dasmarinas, on inspection I mentioned to the service advisor that the front sliding roof rail(specifically the right hand side) had been difficult to operate lately but still functions. I reckon it just needs some adjustment and grease, which what they actually have done. After the service, the rails slides better but the bug is still there, It wasn't really bothersome but I thought it was worth mentioning to the service advisor. I just thought I might just fix it myself. Then a couple of days ago I got a call from my service advisor telling me that parts were already there to fix my roof rails, kinda unexpected in a nice way, I presumed it was just some small parts for that thinga-ma-jig for the roof rail locks, which was still great considering how fast they reacted to my "inquiry".

I then brought my unit today to Hyundai dasmarinas where they attended to my Fe immediately, to my surprise, they where going to replace both roof rails with 2 brand new ones! I was out of there in less than 30 mins. After signing some job orders(where I saw that the rails costs 21K for the pair), I was on my way home. I feel great and confident that HARI gives us an assurance that they wont let us down. Makes me want to buy another hyundai in the future...... Honda used to be no.1 in my list as the best in service, now its hyundai! Hope this continues!

na check na, problem lang talaga yung tunog dunno kung ok na hatak pag labas test drive ko agad, si jay pala kausap ko dun, hehe parts talaga matagal daw dumating bago pa kasi SF e kaya problema din kung may sira ang engine parts matutulog ang unit mo dun sa pagantay ng parts (knock on wood)

Gud evening po. Gusto ko po sana sumali sa SF Club. I've acquired my SF December of 2007. All I can say is that it's one great car! She has travelled 1500km and no complaints so far. My wife and I just relied on net infos re the SF, and we believe we made the right choice in acquiring her. It is just lately that we chanced upon this forum and it has become a daily habit for us to read comments and reviews.

Looking forward to more kwentos and exchange of experiences. More power!
