Thanks. Actually parang ganyan din plan ko para sa Sta.Fe ko. Kailangan lang mas maliit na subs. Sayang naman kung malaki yung box tapos hindi magagamit yung third row. Post ko na lang pag gawa na baka next month kulang pa sa budget

Maxvel: Yung Check Engine lang umiilaw? how about yung Filter?

Happened to the SF too, parang ayaw humatak. Nag light yung Filter na idiot light. Ibig sabihin pala nun, may tubig na nag-accumulate sa filter. Nagpakarga kasi yung bro ng gf ko sa isang suspicious gas station - dun galing yung water contaminated fuel.

All you have to do is loosen the screw at its bottom to release the water. Meron sa manual on how to do it on your own.

It should be fine afterwards.

Good afternoon sir HP. Sa fuel filter ba yun? Approximately how many ml of water yung nag accumulate? Would draining the entire fuel tank be necessary to ensure safety in the long run and avoid critical problems? Thanks...

That's a good asking price... just check the PMS record of the said unit.

+1 Yes, to be sure if the previous owner did follow the required maintenance procedures. To know if there were problems encountered on the said unit as well. The records will show if I'm not mistaken.

I talked to two SA's this afternoon from different dealers, the best offer so far for a 4x4 CRDI unit is PhP 1.613M, with the standard freebies of matting, 3M tint (windshield inc) and cargo net. The insurance is PhP 36T+ and registration is PhP 9T+. The unit according to the SA will be available nxt week, btw it's a white one. What do you think?

Ah, actually, na-discover ko lang yun when it happened.

Actually, ang nangyari nun, dinala sa casa yung SF, pinalitan nila ng fuel filter, binaba daw yung tank blah blah, and they used a lot of diesel to "wash" away the water.

I found it odd at that time since may filter naman to catch all the water.

Anyway, few months after, wala akong magawa while waiting, binasa ko yung manual, dun ko nalaman na di pala dapat pinalitan yung filter, dapat i-drain lang. Badtrip nga, that job cost us 6K+.

Kaya sinasabi ko ngayon dito, para you all know. 6K din yun.

Good evening po! Maganda po ang white.. Malinis tignan kaya lang po diba medyo po mahirap i-maintain? (hehehehe) Pero ako rin naman nagustohan ko ang white! Ok sa alright po!

Only my check engine light turn on. I talk to Mr. Ranny of Erod today re my SF and sabi niya naka encounter na daw siya ng same problem. sabi niya baka dirty yong air filter ko. I check it and madumi nga. Bukas punta ako sa casa and I'll update you guys. sana air filter lang nga. thanks

* HP - Thanks for the info sir. Matrabaho pala pag ganun. Yung malapit na gas station sa bahay is kinda questionable din. I think I'll avoid that, doon na lang ako sa malinis kahit may kalayuan. Fill up 2k worth everytime para minsanan na lang.

problem sir kasi there is no hyundai dealership in my place. the SF was probably serviced by a local (reputable) shop. i'll check with the owner regarding PMS and inquire who is authorize to service hyunday vehicles.

on a brighter side. i have seen this SF everyday since the first day it was cruising on our streets.
