Light colored vehicles are easier to maintain. Lagi syang mukhang malinis. Scratches are less noticeable.
Dark colored ones are hard to maintain..... pero mas may depth pag naka wax. Glossy saka reflective, mas malakas and astig ang dating.
Downside, kitang kita ang mga small scratches and dusts.

But that's the whole point, you need to maintain your car's finish dba.
If it's not a daily commute, then black or dark colored SF is just fine.
hi sir! hehe medyo busy nga eh,, hirap maging ahente at yaya

*newbie_innova - Dagdag ko lang na pag below 80kph takbo sa SF nakakainis. Paminsan minsan you need to feel the speed.
Anyway, not to test your patience or anything. I was and so was most of the owners here who had experienced the same as you are now having a hard time choosing w/c car to acquire. Hindi naman madalian yan, just take your time, weigh down your needs and requirements, relax and good luck on your choice.
If you happen to get the SF, I'll give it a 7/10 rating.

Here are some of the problems encountered so far by a few tsikot members w/ their SF: AFAIK ( maybe some can add their experience)
    1. Moisture issues on the headlights, taillights and fog lights = under warranty
    2. Squeaking of the brake pedal inside the interior. = probably lubrication
    3. Busted rear left shocks, leak (nels76) = under warranty
    4. Water leak inside the cabin coming from the aircon = fixed
"That's where the 5 year warranty comes in handy"

I've experienced # 1 (fog lights moisture occured when I washed the car immediately after using the fogs but disappeared in a few minutes, never did that again, so the problem never happened anymore)
    # 2 still having the squeaks for weeks now but I've learned to live w/ it, besides, I plan to have it checked on my next PMS visit sa casa.

Ok naman mga options mo. SF yata pinaka mahal dun.
It'll be really cool if you would get the SF eventually. I personally would recommend it, but the decision is yours alone. Feel free to ask more questions po.
Enjoy the rest of the week.

No Problem Sir! Ganito lang po kase yan. If you have no time to clean, polish/make your SF shine, get the silver.... But if you have the time to give TLC to a black SF, then go for it!

hello guys, C190 my unit is a superior red in color 4x4, I do have a question for you guys, just finished my first full tank 67 liters, I only got something like 450km from it which translates to about 7 km to 1 liter, my ODO reading is 512 km, it's a 2 week old plus unit, normal ba yun? I used it here primarily city driving, Davao City is light traffic lang compared to Manila, how much do you get for a full tank of diesel? Thanks!

    hi sir jdizon!
7km/l is not bad specially if your unit is brandnew, I also got same figures before 5K odo reading, I think you will get beter figures if you reach 5-10K odo reading, now Im near 15K odo and my FC is 11km/l mixed drivng
    enjoy!

congrats sir on your new ride....
try to refill(full tank) for at least 3 times every 100kms with the same gas station (and pump if possible)to get your average FC...

if same FC ,maybe youre still excited with its acceleration
.....got a heavy foot?check your tire pressure too if it's under inflate...
try to maintain low rpm ("the lower the rpm- the lesser gas consumed")
and minimize hard braking to improve your FC
    i got 9-10 kms/li on heavy traffic/SLEX, 16kms/li best on highway

like you... i seldom touched my altis too
they got same FC...but our SF is diesel ....

    here's my fc (4wd sf) - 10.5 km/L

just want to share a very odd experience on my way to seagull valley....

the road going to that place is well paved with traditional uphills. along the way i set the tranny to "D". with almost an hour of continuous driving and coming from an ascend when the tranny locks to a certain gear (noted rpm - 3000+). i try to depress the accelerator bringing the rpm back to (around) 1800 rpm and then press the accelerator again and continue doing so 'til the rpm reaches more than 3000 rpm again but still the tranny was locked. i set the tranny to manual (i found out that the tranny was in number 2) shift the stick to (+) a couple of times, but the tranny remains on number 2. then i decided to stop, put the stick to "N" then move again using the "D". with approximately 50 meters of running, the tranny was locked again...the same in number 2. it was this time i stopped and waited almost 10 minutes before proceeding. after that the problem was gone and never occurred even on our way back.

today i called the manager of hyundai gensan about the experience that i encountered which surprises him (i believe). he told me that he will going to discuss the matter with their maintenance manager. he then talked to me about the smart transmission our sf's have and should not worry about it. he also advises me to bring the unit to them if the problem will occur again to have the engine and transmission checked by a computer.

if you guys have this experience please share what are the root causes...thanks!

Sounds like your tranny has "Grade Logic" if you we're going pre dominantly uphill. peak torque = 34.2kg-m * 1800-2500 rpm. tama po b?
