    In our case it could've been bad fuel in the province. We always fuel up at Shell (Vpower diesel) and always only in flood free areas. Only problem is in the provinces you don't really have a choice. And there was this issue about provincial big 3 gas stations having diesel delivered from dubious sources. We change air and fuel filter every 10TKm. No additives either.

    There's also the possibility maybe HARI units were detuned before Euro 4 diesel rollout?

    more likely hari already specified the euro2 fuel system even if euro4/5 models were already out as they knew how bad our fuel is. ako nga yung sorento ko pag kinargahan ko ng petron magreregenerate yung dpf after 1 full tànk sa taas ng sulfur content ng petron diesel nung euro2 pa lang sila. e uero2 naman yung sorento 2012. this means only 1 thing, yung sinasabi ng petron na euro2 na sila e false yun kasi yung euro2 na makina inuubo sa diesel nilang euro2.

    Meron bang Euro 2 na VGT dati bro? Afaik Euro 3 na kasi yung TCi engine. I think Euro 4 na kaagad yung mga naunang VGT models.

    Mukhang mas matibay yung mga older gen crdi injectors. Yung Navara ko Euro 3 din, still going strong despite using Euro 2 diesel most of its life. No smoke except on heavy acceleration.

    mine was a hari unit 2010 vgt and it was euro2. and as i said yung 2012 sorento (also vgt) euro2 din. baka independent dealers yung euro3 agad.

    Tsk. Something to think about if kukuha ng gray market. Euro 6 na mga GS nila ngayon.

    Mine us Euro 5 no problem at all. 5 years na. Totoo yung sinasabi ni Yebo kapag nag Petron ako dati 2-3 full tanks regenerate na DPF. Kaya nag Vpower na lang ako simula nun, or Caltex mas okay pa.
    Sabi ng Hancars no need na i tuned daw ulit yung GS kahit Euro 4 na diesel ngayon

    Have to correct myself, talked to Toto of Central Diesel, nirebuild lang pala nila injectors ko. Nalito siguro si Jake re: injector swap. Akala siguro ibang unit.

    There's still a little puff of white smoke at cold starts so I'll bring it back when time permits.

    Plan ng family namin bumili ng bago sasakyan at GS ang isa sa napupusuan namin meron lamang po ako mga bagay na nais itanong.

    1) Hari o Grey market ano ang mas prefer nyo.
    2) Saan dealer o branch ang marerecommend nyo na maganda in terms of after sale service, quality ng gawa.
    3) If Grey market ang kukunin masisira ba GS sa klase ng diesel na binebenta sa atin.
    4) Kaya ba ni GS paahon na daan kahit fully loaded.
    4) Any issues na hindi pa naayus ng hyundai sa GS.

    Province din ako bro nakatira. Maluwas man ako ng manila pero di ako nagpapa crudo dun since mas mura sa amin... Just thinking baka di naman sira injectors? May bad experience na ko dyan sa central diesel q. Ave branch. Dinala ko dati oto low power nung newbie pa sa diesel. Sabi rebuild na raw injectors ko. Buti, nagresearch at nilinis ko lang sensor. Ayun, okay na till now.. LOL. Si erpats dinala rin nya everest nya dati dun maitim usok at low power, same prognosis. Palit injectors na raw sabi ni q.ave. Pag check ko ayun pala may boost leak lang sa hose punit..

    Actually, baliktad sya. Mas matibay na ang mga latest gen na fuel injection system. So the newer the model ung oto, mas matibay fuel injection system. Read this at a bosch website. Google nyo lang bosch crs.


    Ang maarte is not the injector or pump BUT the DPF filter which is totally not related sa injector performance. Nagclog lang DPF due to dirty fuel but that doesnt mean the fuel filter, fuel pump and/or the injectors will clog up or will break as well.

    I guess I'll never know what it really was bro. Worst case is they overcharged me for cleaning a few parts. I felt some injector shake before that was gone after their service though. Thanks for the tips. Next to do is to have the DPF cleaned.

    Update sa unit ko:
    Had the maf, throttle and dpf cleaned. Worked for 2 weeks then low power ulit.
    Brought to another diesel shop and good thing injector flow test showed good injectors. Had the egr blanked and temporary oil catch.
    To be honest, hirap makahanap ng maayos na shop na hindi raket ang diesel injectors. At least now i know hindi injectors or fuel pump ang problem.
    Magloko sya ulit, baka sa berrima diesel next stop.

    We are decided on getting a GS as a replacement to our gen2 Everest.

    Choose between HiAce Grandia, Grand Carnival and the Peugeot Expert Teepee.

    We need the space if all family members are together. Ok sana Hiace kung may "nguso" lang yun. Since the GS will be their daily driver. May 11 seater pa ba sa HARI? I've seen on some pics na ok pa rin ang luggage space sa likod kahit na sa 11 seater GS

    Last time i check pahirapan stocks sa hari ng 4 rows variant. Tapos tci lang. Wala na daw dumadating na vgt. So we went to hancars. Mas sulit pa.

    Wala na luggage space yan sa likod pag may nakaupo sa lahat ng upuan

    wala nnaman 11 seater e. 10 seater ang meron which has 3 row - 3 sa 1st, 3 sa 2nd and 4 sa 3rd row. yan malali space sa likod kahit 6 na maletang wala nang uwian kasya.

    11 ba talaga ang sasakay? bili ka ng 2 bucket seats na surplus bolt down mo dun sa rails ng 3rd row, mahaba yung rails nun pwede pa isingit 1 row between 2nd and 3rd rows.

    Sa gray market meron bro. All are 4 rows with removable 4th row bench. 12 seater is 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 while 11 seater is 2 (w/ center console) + 3 + 3 + 3. When all seats are in place legroom is short, and almost no cargo space.

    Sakto lang sa amin ang 9/10 seater. Occasional lang naman kelangan namin ng more than 9.

    Sarap nga sana ng madaming "toys" na starex sa hancars. Pero more to go wrong din. Habol ko lang sa hari eh yung dealer network nila since pareho naman silang may 5 year warranty, pahirapan lang from what i read.

    yung 10 seater ko dati nagkakasya 12 bumili.lang ako ng foam na sofa bed nilalagay ko in between 2nd and 3rd rows para sa.mga bata.

    sakit din ng ulo paps yung euro6 engine ng independent dealers at euro4 pa lang ang diesel natin. although not yet confirmed meron na non-hari units na pumiyok ang injectors but none so far sa hari units. yun lang jga hari sucks big time when it comes to aftersales (but then almost all do naman). kakatayin ka sa every 3 months pm schedule nila. the best way to go about it is use the vehicle as much as possible para sulit yung bayad mo sa pm. then after the first 4-5-6 services junk the warranty na kasi wala naman na lalabas na sira yan at tried and tested na ang euro2/3/4 engines ng hyundai. i did this with mine, stopped going to the casa for pm after the 20k km pm. wala naman nasira until i sold it 5 years later. and that was a much used and abused starex.

    Wow every 3 mos? Daylight robbery yan ah. Daily drive naman talaga ang designation niya. Yung current ride kasi namin is casa lang palagi. Based abroad kasi ako and yung mga nasa pinas including the driver eh wala masyado alam sa kotse.

    Tama nga talaga na mas madalas pa masira yung mga seldom used na kotse kesa sa mga pang araw araw. Kaya kung may 2nd car na pang coding eh it has to be japanese para sigurado
