IMO bro.,- you made a very good decision! [I would have made the same if the OEM light was available six years ago,- it was not. And bro.yebo I think had it imported. And so, I had no choice but to get the rear wing with the third brake light]

40000 km ang atf change ng hyundai and kia pero lumampas ako ng konti, a little over 42000 km na. the atf was already color dirty red (blackish hue na). better spend 10k on atf than 150k on a new tranny.

    40KKm for the ATF change.....

Iba ang AT ng VGT[5-speed] at ng TCi[4-speed],- and so, iba ang kanilang volume requirement, right?.....

TCi ang sa akin,- ilan kayang liters ang kailangan kong dalhin?

    Yikes! Papalitan na po! [emoji4]

Btw, anyone encounter problems with their front power locks (not locking) and door switches (not registering that doors are closed)?

What atf fluid ginamit mo? Tama ba Zic atf SP-IV ang equivalent ng red-1? Yung castrol multi vehicle is SP-III only

    Thanks for confirming bro.

I'll start looking and stocking up on the zic atf sp4 as our unit is over 35kkm now. I'll check if our tci at uses the same atf as that of the vgt at

Just a thought. Dialysis coz di daw natatanggal yung nasa torque converter.

What if you did the regular ATF change but at a shorter interval, di kaya maghahalo na din yun at maisasama sa pag-drain?

Re door switch, had to have the driver's door and passenger sliding door replaced. Baka rear door na sunod.

Front door locks had to be repaired this year. Ayaw maglock/unlock with the remote. Diagnosis nung electrician ko is ubos na carbon nung motor. When he got through with it, buhay na ulit pareho. Although, di na umiilaw yung signal light to acknowledge the doors are locked via keyless.

Strange that I haven't had these problems with my Jap cars previously.

pwede naman bossing drain, fill up, run for few kilometers, drain, fill up. the end result will be a much cleaner atf compared to just a single drain and fill. pwede na diy.

I know, medyo tedious din nga naman especially if always on the go.

Yung dialysis kasi takes up mga twice or thrice the amount of a drain and refill kaya medyo masakit. so if one had the time and chance, tyagaan naman with shorter intervals.

That is actually a novel idea, bro....

I just have a couple of questions,- what's the approx volume of the ATF in the torque converter? what is the approx volume of ATF overall? With this, we can compute for the purity of the ATF after x drain/refill, assuming the ATF becomes homogeneous after X Kms of driving....

Hehehe! Now that's the tricky part to this theory. How long before it'll actually work...
