That is correct, mirroring or any video function will not work with shifter not in Park unless you bypass that feature. There are youtube video instruction how to do it, but I have not done it myself.

On your car, your shifter must be on park with e-brake engaged. On your display screen choose source as HMDI, then go to home screen then choose AUDIO, after a few seconds mirroring should start. Ensure the usb is plugged also in USB port.

Sometimes you may have to start/stop the engine or reboot your head unit for it to recognize the software in your HDMI.

    Hope this works for you.
Thanks bro. Will try this tonight.

    Hello

Are there any Major or Minor problem with the existing Civic Model? Planning to buy in the future. Thank you in advance.

kaya 1year lng ang warranty, our bad traffic and weather is just torturous for thailand sourced batteries. 1-800-motolite 😉

New civic uses the same smart charging computer algorithm used by Ford. Google na lang on how it works and pros and cons. On some point during, it actually turns off the alternator, so I advised you buy trickle chargers for longer batt life especially if you rarely use your car or plenty of short distance driving.

Note on my datalog(civic RS but should be same with E), depending on ECU logic, it can shut off the alternator(12.1 volts) and do a quick boost charge of the batt(14.6 volts)

Ride and comfort, swabe. -Can hold its own vs upper segment cars (cefiros, camrys, etc)

As for fuel consumption, i average between 7.5-8 for my daily drive (qc-rockwell-qc). Fairly thirsty but i’m not complaining. Some of our previous sedans would only give us 5km/l. [emoji38][emoji38][emoji38]

Try checking out the whitelist.apk hack in the facebook groups. should do the trick.

A differential i’d recommend would be to just install waze on the hu itself. You’d hafta root though.

    *jut703,
Hello po. Tried to PM you but your inbox is full. I'm getting a 2017 Honda Civic as well and I would just like to ask, anong klaseng rims yung inilagay nyo sa Civic nyo po and kung magkano, if you dont mind? Also, anong dashcam rin po ang gamit nyo?

Gagayahin ko lang yung setup nyo, basically. Haha!

    *everyone,
I really, really want chrome door handles katulad ng mga nakikita ko sa videos. Is it possible to replace the plastic door handles with chrome ones?

    Thanks!

My rims are the stock rims from the 2016 Accord V6:

I got them from a Civic owner whose dad had an Accord V6 and handed down his rims. The Civic owner decided to change to the more common TE37 rims so I was lucky enough to be the first to ask if he was selling the Accord rims.

It'll be pretty tough to find Accord V6 rims because few people buy V6 Accords in the first place. Another option is to order from Honda dealerships - they price the rims at 18k per piece so 72k for set.

For my dashcam, I have a 3-year old SJ4000 but I need to change soon as the video quality is subpar and I'm experiencing battery isses already. Looking to get a Mini 0805 as a replacement.

As for your door handles, yes you can replac¥e the 1.8E's body-color handles with the RS' chrome handles. There are sellers in the Civic X FB group.

Oh okay. If i wanted to get 18" rims, what do you think would be a good substitute that looks equally good? Thank you for answering.

If you're going for the OEM look, there's little else that looks as good as the Accord V6 rims IMO.

You can try scouring Banawe and Evangelista for Lexus ES350 copy rims which look nice on the Civic too. They were my first set of rims before I stumbled on the Accord rims:

Got them for 32k in Evangelista before.

If you're going for the aftermarket look, there's the TE37, Gramlights 57FXX, CE28, Rota KBF, and so on.
