Nope. Saka masyadong matagal 1 year recommendation nila. Bili ka na lang third party filters then replace ko every 6 months.

Anyone here know kung pwede magdala ng air and cabin filters? Very expensive sa casa kasi. Yung iba mas mababa price pero binabawi sa ibang parts/ material.

I did twice pinalitan ko air and cabin filters before dalhin sa casa for PMS. It worked...but on the 3rd one my SA advised me hwag na lng baka kasi masilip mismo ni Honda ma-void warranty

do you go sa same SA/ Dealer po? anong warranty daw po mavoid? boung engine ba? had my previous ride k&n air filter I claimed some warranty pero hinde related sa engine.

Yep same SA/dealer. Basta ang sabi nya lang baka daw ma-compromise ung engine esp hindi pumasa sa standard ni Honda ung 3rd party filters. He asked about K&N's I think ina-accept nila un kaya lng kasi sobrang mahal nya hehe


By the way, I used Fleetmax filters.

Sa k&n in a long run mababawi mo naman lalo na if you will keep the car for long.

Update: ang email ako this morning sa isang Honda dealer if they can remove mga unnecessary which they dis naman. From 12.7k naging 5.4k that’s for 1yr/20k km pms

Ano naman special sa cabin and air filter ng honda? Anong ma-conpromised sa engine pag 3rd party gagamitin? Dudumi yun engine oil? [emoji39]

Sir, pag OK pa air and cabin filters mo na honda-labeled, bili ka ng preferred aftermarket filters. On your regular use, use your preferred filters, then before entering casa for service, re-install the orig honda filters. This has been my practice. Para wala nang tanong-tanong.

In my case kasi, medyo malakas sa air filters ang civic turbo. Less than 5K kms medyo di na tolerable tingnan. So I bought another orig honda filter, cleaned the old one (as reserve) and bought k&n units for the airbox and cabin for regular use. I just re-install the honda-labeled ones before servicing at honda. Bawi ko na cost ko sa k&n, if based sa honda service interval. For the oil filter, I still go with the orig honda. K&N cabin and air filters cost me just over $100 sa US, including the respective recharging/cleaning kits.

Submitted mine. Experienced EPS issue after a year (20k kms) and they replaced it with a new 1. Seriously, we need to seek legal action for this. Kawawa mga customers especially after warranty period.

When you purchased your unit Sir, haven't they informed you about the extension of your warranty to 5 years (with fee, of course). I forgot the terms try to inquire about it to your SA if still possible or you're still qualified.

They wouldn't know the difference 😂. Ansakit naman kasi ng presyo ng filters nila, wala namang special properties man lang kahit charcoal-infused and the like.

Tapos yung reputasyong Honda

Mas pino yung sala ng hangin ng honda para siguradong walang solid particles na makakalusot at sisira sa turbo

For the air filter ask the service advisor for a justification..why it needs replacement with matching inspection

If theres no noticeable perforation on the filter element then keep it as is..dont pay for the replacement

For the cabin filter it's not that critical for the car but the people riding the car

If you have sensitive nose go for the original..if not settle for a replacement

Again inspect the cabin filter together with the service advisor..if no perforation is observed then dont pay for a replacement
