Thanks for the reply bro... reason for asking is because my HU has android OS... but without apple carplay/android auto.... kinda sucks that i can't install APK apps cos installation is disabled by Honda apparently. So will installing the app on my android phone work with mine?

Yes bro, it's an app on your phone that mirrors certain apps (currently Waze, Google Maps, Spotify) from your phone to your car's touch screen.

This is Waze on Android Auto in my car:



The head unit doesn't have Waze itself, but rather just displays what I have on my phone. I get to control it using the head unit itself though.

Unfortunately, no. Currently, only the Civic (except the LE) and new CRV have Android Auto. The City, Mobilio, and HRV have Android-based touchscreen HUs but without the Android Auto functionality.

Accord HU is also carplay and Android Auto compatible. One reason why they don't indicate these
features is they are not officially offered by Google and Apple for the Philippines.

The New City, New Jazz, New Mobilio and BR-V have similar audio units.

The HR-V and Odyssey has the older but still nice audio unit with trip computer info. Not sure if these
are android based.

Pilot has android based HU but doesn't support carplay and android auto yet.

Android auto is the one made by google specially for the car. May 2 klase sya, may android auto na embedded which runs mismo on the HU.

Pero this is different with the HUs running the Android OS which is common dito sa pinas. Hindi google ang gumawa nun. Third party companies lang ang nagcustomize nun.

Malibre lang yung add-on na 20k sa white pearl masaya na ko.
If ever meron SA dito na ma approve ang discount to cover lang yung sa pearl white na 20k charge proceed na ko.
SX model naman kukunin baka maka discount lalo pag model na to. PM na lng po.

Pila pa rin. But I heard shipments were coming this Aug and Sep so that should free up the backlog.

Honda did a good job with the deliveries of the facelifted City which were on the roads right after it was launched.

As with all highly-anticipated models, the CRV's availability will be very critical to its success. Obviously interest is high, but they'll need actual stocks if they want to convert that interest to real sales.

Medyo nag tataka nga lang ako sa marketing strategy ng Honda front and center ang diesel sa advertising tapos ang initial batch e puro gas? I'm sure they tought long and hard about bringing the diesel here maybe in the then then they could have arranged to have made diesel units available at launch also.

Yes S model. Walang SX model but I like it for having more ground clearance and of course the panoramic sunroof. Pangatlo na ko sa reservation pero walang discount.. I checked yung BR-V after 3 months nagkaron na sya cash discount eh. Kaya pag nauna ka no discount...

Ang problem eh after 3 months baka late at di na tayo aabot ng old price na walang excise tax

You think guys around December 2017 maging stable na supply and makapag bigay na sila discount during that time?

January 2018 pa naman excise tax. Baka next year na sila magbigay discount parang i absorb muna nila initially yung excise tax. (pero sa 2.1M magiging 2.5 na based sa sample computation eh.)

Buti pa BR-V meron introductory discount kahit new release and madami nagpareserve last September launching.

This car is very spacious. First row and second row is even more spacious than my Montero 2016. Im impressed indeed, But im having doubts im with the power of the engine though waiting for the test drive.

This car is very spacious. First row and second row is even more spacious than my Montero 2016. Im impressed indeed, But im having doubts im with the power of the engine though waiting for the test drive.

If you're expecting performance like a Civic or Accord, I guess you may need to look somewhere else.

It should be up to 15k pero for CRV, 5k lang.
