wishful thinking. it is still 12+ inches shorter than the sorento/sta fe which for me is the gauge to which other cuvs measure up to when it comea to space. to have interior space it needs to have bigger exterior dimensions first. saan mo kukunin yung interior space kung maiksi ang wheel base at overall vehicle length? unless of course it's a circus car that can fit 20 midgets inside.

Honda was able to make the smaller Mobilio and BRV to accommodate 7 seats, I guess they can do that with the CRV. NO guarantee though how comfortable it will be for the passengers on the 3rd row.
If you need a vehicle that drives like a car, seats 7, powered by a turbo diesel engine, and priced competitively, you may want to consider the VW Golf Caddy. The sliding rear doors helps a lot in easy loading of passengers. It comes in 1.6L TDI (1.35M) and 2.0L TDI (1.55M) trim levels. It just looks more like a minivan though and not a CUV.

10th gen and 11th gen Altis, few mm lang difference in exterior dimensions, but super layo in terms of interior space.
Shorter dashboard, shorter hood, shorter overhangs, all these help expand interior space without growing in size.
Of course, if the bigger car is already efficient with its space, the smaller car will be cozier inside by comparison.

August 3rd, 2017 09:18 PM #254ano kaya magbago kaya culture sa mga Honda CASA now that they are entering the diesel territory? though may mga Ayala-owned Isuzu casas pala, so malamang no big deal naman sa mga Ayala-owned Honda casa. Pero this time siguro HOnda car agents can breathe a sigh of relief kasi hindi na sila magpe-pretend ngaun na matipid sa fuel ang mga cars nila, now that they have diesel.
kung minsan kasi in the spirit of streamlining and efficiency, sa tingen ko Isuzu ang pinaka-less effort na kasa by just offering just one model (MUX) nabuhay sila hanggang probinsya while yan Honda may jazz pa, may hrv pa, may pilot pa, may odyssey pa at may accord pa, tapos titignan mo sa sales tig 100 per month lang tapos Isuzu nakakabenta ng almost 3K units per month. what a waste of technical know-how and departments and sales expertise just to sell those cars.
who knows, Honda may feel this change and just bring in their diesel models sa future, kasi mas mag-profit sila talaga dun, puwede pa sila magbawas ng tech, sales and admin personnel na hindi na man okey returns. alam ko meron Diesel HRV, meron din ata City na Diesel eh, so why not bring it here and check Hyundai. Hari o sumisimple, binabanatan ang Vios sa hot selling Accent nila.

August 3rd, 2017 10:12 PM #260yes maluluwag talaga yan kitang-kita naman sa photo pa lang. I mean it's as wide as a Santa FE. eh yun mga PPV ngaun like Montero, MUX, Everest tanggalan mo ng mga malalaking gulong nila, I think the current gen Civic or Altis are wider, therefore roomier. eto cabin space ng mga PPV eh lamang lang ng onti sa Vios or City in terms of wideness. I know kasi mas nasisikipan ako sa Wildtrak ko kaysa sa SF ko. ma-feel mo naman yun eh kung gano kalapit misis mo sayo pang nakaupo
so in that dept, I think panalo talaga ang CRV sa lahat ng PPV. tapos dagdag mo pa comfortability. I think this will sell, and it will get a fair market share that is if Honda will sell in good faith. hindi yun benta benta tapos sasadyain kulang stock, tapos yun pala yun price na ni-release eh intro price na bigla tataas ng 50K sa pasko.
Honda is know to do that eh with the previous gen CRV. kaya hayun nasira sila. actually meron ng signs, eh gasoline lang daw irerelease ngaun august, sa october pa daw mga diesels, so malamang yun irerelease nila prices ngaun na diesel, hindi yun ang totoong price sa October once supply becomes normal.
tsk tsk why why are these people in marketing so predictable. hello, wag nyo na gawin sa Filipino people, Fiipinos today are all smart coz progessive na tayo.
learn a thing or two with Isuzu. nun release, they took humble pie and sold the lowest in PPV market at only 1.2 to 1.3M pero with ample inventory naman. so since 2k14 until now 2k17, maganda ang sales nila and MUX, an unknown brand in the Philippines suddenly become hotcake. ngaun lang naman nila tinaas sa 1.5M yan MUx eh kasi nga by law of supply and demand, dami na kalaban eh, tas euro 2 pa sila, so by selling high now but giving surgical discounts na mag-fall din sa prices nun i-inintroduce nila yun MUX, parang kumbaga stable lang ang benta ng mux sa price nila. that's good business I suppose.
with Honda, I hope you resurrect the greatness of the once tarnished CRV name. ok naman yun eh, who know, this might beat fortuner in the long run. i for one believe in the name CRV. eh kumbaga CRV naman talaga nagpasimula ng crossover SUV eh.
Had my 2014 Altis repaired by Tireman PH in Gen. Trias, Cavite last Wednesday. Nawala na yun...
