I don't own a CR-V so I'm not one of those sensitive people. I care less on how people's comments about my ride.

I was just reitirating how that troll keeps on commenting negatively on all threads he is in, seriously Well, that's why he's called a troll.

"to criticize a man's car, is to criticize his manhood."
that is, if one is unsure of oneself.

"criticize my car, gentlemen. i own one. you don't."

    heh heh.

Ako, I don't mind. Except for the wife, I need not please anyone with the choice I made on buying my car. My wife's aunt asked us last year when we got the Forester XT, why we did not buy a Fortuner instead? I was courteous enough not to answer.

Same here. I don't mind what others think.

TBH, CR-V is not a looker for me pero I still bought one. Hindi naman looks ang habol ko. Ride comfort and fuel consumption ang primary considerations ko. Nakakatuwa lang din ang extra toys/features na kasama.

The Mrs doesn't like the look of the new CR-V. Gusto nya yung itsura ng volvo xc60. Sorry hunny, wala tayong budget dun hahahaha. Pero nun nasakyan nya na yung CR-V, natuwa sya kasi high tech and very comfortable. Comparing to our previous car, malaki ang difference.

Agree... we tend to put too much emphasis and priority on the looks of a car... but the longer you use/drive it, the other factors (comfort, handling, drive, FC, passenger space, cargo, reliability) will sink in more and you'll either appreciate or regret your choice depending if you have put so much high emphasis on the looks alone when you made your purchase.

It's not about being sensitive sir shadow. It's about repeating over and over again what's been said already. Ikaw ba sabihan ng pangit ng paulit ulit hindi ka ba maiirita

Back read his post he never had one good damn thing to say about the crv.

Just expressing my view, nothing personal

May i get some opinion on whether to keep a 6 year old bmw x3 or buy a new crv s diesel? The x3 was bought brand new last 2011 for almost 4m. It is a turbo diesel xdrive with just 24k kms. Now i think its resale will not even be enough to buy a crv s model. Is there more prestige driving a new crv than a 6 year old x3?

Keep that X3. It’s not that used since it only has 24k km on it. As far as I know, German vehicles are much better as daily drives than being garage queens. As good as the new CRV Diesel maybe but it will not be as good a drive as German crossovers. Only advantage the CRV has its seating capacity and cheaper maintenance.

agree to keep the BMW X3 since it was purchased brand new...consider getting the top of the line CRV-SX variant..dont expect much of the 3rd row, pang kids lang yon.

Thank you guys. I will be keeping my x3. My problem is i still want a new crv. Thankfully, my wife can afford it. She is the one with the business acumen. But i know it is not a good financial decision. I feel bad each time i think about how much my x3 has depreciated.

buti na lang diesel yan, eh ako na-stuck-an ng Ford Explorer na gas eh, pero one of my best cheap to maintain cars.

kung ako sayo wag mo na benta yan x3, not worth the CRV diesel, ampangit ng CRV diesel looks wise, the only exciting about it is it's gonna start a revolution, diesel crossover revolution na nag-fail ang Hyundais
