But for occasional use and not so long trips (like hanggang Subic or Batangas lang), livable naman for non-fat adults yung 3rd row. Kids will be just fine too.

Hindi ko na convince sarili ko dun sa interior ng hrv, the dashboard design, the unique passenger aircon vents(yung pahaba) and wala android auto. If nag follow sana sya ng dashboard design ng civic and crv . though I like the rest of its tech, walk away lock, speed sensing lock, power folding side mirrors, push start ignition...

Now I'm wondering if sa next version ay babaguhin interior design ng hrv.

base on Japan photo mukhang binago na yun aircon vents for next gen. yun din hinde ko trip but the rest are ok with all the gadgets.
my missus don't like the trunk space hinde daw kasya gamit ng baby namen on out of town trips.
i was able to ride an uber HRV sa abroad i feel na yun likod is matalbog lalo sa highway since ako lang pasahero. maybe its because walang rear. pero it looks like masarap siya idrive (parang sedan lang) hinde nakakapagod like ng PPV's na ang lalaki

Does both variant have reverse camera integrated to HU? how about navigation/gps sa HU?

Surprising na sirain pala yung shift button ng shift knob of the gas variant. Hoping that either ours doesn't break, or if it does, hopefully it's within the warranty period.

My question was is 0w16 too thin a viscosity for a turbo diesel. My focus is engine durability, not ultimate fuel efficiency. I know ultra low viscosity oils give the best fuel efficiency but I would gladly trade a couple of km/L for better protection of the turbo and engine. If I had a choice I would use 0w30 or 5w30, but I don’t since I have to use the oil the casa uses for PMS, which is 0w16.

From what I’ve read, ultra low viscosity oils tend to vaporize easier thus adding to the gunk in the engine which is recirculated by the EGR system. Furthermore, film strength is not as strong as higher viscosity oils so potential for more wear and tear is there especially with the lower levels of ZDDP (zinc) in new gen motor oils.

Since this diesel engine was just launched in the PHL around 9 mos. ago, I guess we will find out in 3-4 yrs if this factory oil suits our conditions. That said, our warranties will be expired by then so good luck to us.

Honda has long been using their 0w20 FS oil on their gas-fed cars and they were no issues with it. If Honda suggested such an oil for their diesel engine, I guess they know what they are doing. This small diesel engine is manufactured in India and planned for Asia/Oceania market.

What I meant was Honda was getting its fluids from Idemitsu. The engine oil, PSF, ATF, CVTF, brake fluid, and other fluids that Honda uses on their dealerships are manufactured by Idemitsu.
