Konting recline lang kasi sa gas hindi tulad ng sa BRV.

The legroom of the gas is already pretty good but it seems the diesel is even better when slid all the way back.
I think it is the same angle.

Yup. The diesel has a big advantage in knee room.

Not that you need it... laki na ng knee room ng gas.

Side note: Love the BR-V. Even if the second row is narrow. Perfect for a family with kids. May time-out zone for whoever is being snotty on the trip.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

5+2 lang talaga bro. But better than the X-trail's +2. Pag 170 cm and below pwede na, sakto sa head room pero knees up.

ok sorry ngaun lang ako nakabalik.

so here goes: binubully ng pug yun doberman kasi ang laki-laki nya sa third row seat, sikip na sikip si pug. then the doberman replied: "wag ka nga mag-ano ano dyan, dati sa 2nd gen cRV lang ako nakasakay ni master *shadow, walang nga upuan yun, minsan nakahiga lang ako sa mga bags nila na hindi pantay-pantay papunta baguio". the pug snapped: "wala ako pakelam, ang taba-taba mo na, ang baho mo pa, tapos yun hair mo dumikidit sa'kin, kadire". sabi ng doberman: "grabe ka naman makalait". while all these dog chat were happening, nag naririnig lang ni shadow eh tahol, with the pug barking aww, aaw, tapos yun doberman, bIG sounding wooof! wooF. sobang napikon si *shadow kay doberman sa laki ng boses nya, at binatukan nya ito, mild lang naman pero galit na galit si shadow kasi ang ingay sa loob ng CRV. tapos nalungkot yun doberman, sumisik na lang sya sa 3rd row sa right side, tipong mas malaki na space ng pug sa third row.

si *shadow still irked with the doberman, nag take out sila ng chickenjoy sa drive thru, and he bought 1 pc chickenjoy kay pug, tapos sabay-sabay sila lahat sa loob kumain except for the doberman. after they were all finished, Shadow, his family and the pug, saka lang nila binigay ang leftover sa tahimik na doberman.

then dumating na sila ng baguio. pumunta sila horse riding near sa burnham. The doberman reminisced nun like mga 5 years ago when he was younger, sinakay pa sya ni *shadow sa horse noon and they were so happy, ang laughing cuddling and barking. so sa excitement nya, tumalon si doberman from third row seat to 2nd row seat kung san andun si *shadow. binagsakan nya ang ang B*tl&g ni shadow, at namilipit si *shadow sa sakit. Nagalit si *shadow, at sinigawan nya yun doberman, dito ka nalang sa kotse! then lumabas silang family with the pug, then yun isa anak ni shadow, sumakay sa horse, at inangkas nila si pug. all these were witnessed by the dorberman na sa loob ng CRV S diesel from a distance, pero wala sya magawa coz nakulong sya.

Then while they were all happy sa horse riding. may nag-attempt na magnakaw sa naiwan tablet ni shadow sa 2nd row, binasag nun magnanakaw yun window pero nagulat sya may doberman pala sa loob. so tumakbo yun magnanakaw sa takot. pagbalik ni shadow, nagulat sya basag ang window ng CRV nya, so he checked wala naman nawawala. nagalit at halos hampasin nya ng tsinelas si doberman kasi pinagbitangan nya na binasag nya (nun doberman) yun window ng bagong CRV. sabi ni *shadow, hindi mo ba alam na bago ang car natin! bakit ka ganyan?!!! the doberman still cant believe whats happening to him, nagpunta na lang sa isang tabi at parang umiiyak. then yun *pug kinwento nya nangyari pero with a twist dun sa St. Bernard na pinipiktyuran sa burnham. yun St. Bernard naman kinikwento pa dun sa iba pa mga dogs na napicture sa burnham. and they were all laughing and ridiculing the doberman, kahit nagkikimkim na lang sya sa 3rd row seat ng CRV. the doberman felt so hurt and neglected until nun time na nakabalik na sila shadow and family sa car. pagbukas ni *shadow, akala ni doberman sya naman ang ipapasyal ang tumalon sya sa car na sobrang excited. the doberman was so convinced na papasyal na sya at nagtatakbo sya sa buong burnham park only to find out later that shadow, his family the pug, and the brand new cRV diesel eh wala na sa parking .. sobrang umiyak at ngumawngaw sya coz he felt na iniwan na sya duon sa burnham for good kasi matanda na sya, mataba, at may bago na favorite yun family, the pug. .... to be cont. at uuwi na muna ako wala na traffic

So the gas CR-V or the totl XV?

Almost the same price lang, but slightly better tech ang XV, I think.

Maintenance wise, advantage ang Honda. Mahal daw ng CVTF ng Subarus plus AWD pa kase.

Originally eyeing for the totl HR-V/CX-3.

I'm more after sa "tech" and usually nakikita lang sa totl variants, but the gas CR-V is "loaded" already.

The XV and CX3 are small compared to the CRV. The Forester 2.0i-P or Mazda CX5 2.0L Pro would be a good comparo against the CRV 2.0L gas.

Do you think the CVTF with Honda is cheaper? Think again. You may want to check the prices. With Subaru, you can bring your own fluids and parts unlike Honda where you are forced to use what they offer.

I'd get the Forester or wait for the new one to come out if I were really set on a Subie. The XV is a lot smaller and unless you travel light most of the time, the lack of interior space will bite.

The new CR-V is more practical with what looks like best in class interior space but feels a lot softer to drive than the XV. Haven't driven it in good corners yet but with the soft suspension I bet it will still be prone to roll like the old one.

With Mazda, everything's free for the first 3yrs/60k kms (whichever comes first).

For me mas pogi pa rin Forester kaysa CRV. In fact, for me it's the best looking among all crossovers (actually, among all sub-2M SUVs if you consider both interior and exterior).
