The CRV HU also has Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Argh! I don't know what came to my mind but I was so set with the XV already until earlier when I learned that it doesn't have remote start engine when I did a test drive.

I guess space is not much of an issue for me. My main priorities are looks and features. Is the CRV sporty for you?

    AWD
    X-MODE
    Steering Responsive Headlights
    Rain Sensing Wipers
    Headlamp Washers
    Sunroof
    Auto-dimming rear view mirror
    High Beam Assist

    but I gain:

    Econ Mode
    DRL
    Driver Attention Monitor
    Very informative instrument cluster
    Multi view reverse camera
    Lane watch camera
    Brake hold

Does the CRV HU support Android Auto and Apple Carplay also?

Doesn't the 2.01-S already have DRL's? Noteworthy as well is that the XV has more airbags, higher ground clearance, and 2 infotainment screens in addition to the touchscreen HU.

Hope you were able to do a test drive on both, btw.

Not sure about the XV's DRL's as it is not listed in the specs sheet. I know it has one more infotainment screen just above the HU but where is the other additional one?

I was able to test drive the XV but not the CRV. I wasn't planning to but I don't know if I should now.

From my experience, the 2.2L Ranger and 2.4V Fortuner have about the same grunt.

Is this the current 2.2L Ranger or the older one bro? The older one was a bit slow.

The older one. But mine was a 6MT so it was naturally punchier than equivalent AT units.

How quick is the 2.4L Fort? I've passed quite a few of them on the highway and I always thought they were just taking it easy.
Not quick enough if you ask me, not even the Montero Sport is that quick. Most of them won't be able to do below 10 seconds on a 0-100 kmh sprint. If you want something quick for a diesel vehicle at below 2M, I guess you'd have to go with a Santa Fe or Sorento CRDi. If you want something quicker and a diesel, you are looking at 4M to get yourself a VW Touareg V6 TDI.

Now, if you just need a quick and fast CUV for less than 2M, there is no other choice but the Forester XT. Unless you're talking about a WRX, most other vehicles priced at 2M cannot match the pace of Subie's performance crossover. The Ford Escape 2.0L Ecoboost does have the quickness but the Forester XT offers a better overall package.

Thanks bro. Will still sign up for a test drive but it looks like a pass for me. If my math is right, additional excise tax for the 1.6S is just a little over 100k. I'm willing to forego that for the possibility of getting the 160hp version.

The XT is an older car though bro. And I need the extra space of the newer crossovers. We already have an X-trail and it's not XT-quick but it is quick enough.

No more Korean cars for me, and the Touareg is way above budget. The reason why I was considering the CR-V was the hope of having a quick enough car with decent FC in the city. Looks like a pass for me.

Most people don't need the FXT's power, and those who do already know that the FXT is the choice for them.

I wonder why Honda opted not to bring the CRV 1.5L Turbo locally. It is quite a big hit in the US. It offered more oomph than the old 2.4L engine paired with the comfort of the new platform.

Wow buti ka pa. Nakuha mo yung color na gusto mo? Etong SA namin, kami pa nagtetext para iremind ang order namin.

On the coat, the earlier the better. New cars wala halos paint correction daw. Mas mabilis pag new cars. San mo plano ipacoat?

Yeah mahal sya. Around 18k sya kung gtechniq cs.
