Wala pa kanina nung sinilip ko eh. And official media launch pa ata tonight, so unlikely na meron nang showroom unit.

Honda PH reveals pricing, variants of all-new CR-V

    6:00 PM | Tuesday, August 8th, 2017

To serve and function as an all-around comfortable SUV, the 7-seater variants of the All-New CR-V are powered by a fuel efficient 1.6-liter DOHC i-DTEC Diesel TURBO engine developed under Earth Dreams Technology that produces a maximum power of 120PS at 4,000rpm and peak torque of 300Nm at 2,000rpm. The downsized diesel turbo engine is mated to a new 9 Speed Automatic Transmission with Electronic Gear Selector and Paddle Shifters that produces a powerful yet cleaner and more efficient output.

On the other hand, Honda retains its 2.0-liter SOHC i-VTEC engine offering to the Philippine Market exclusively for the 5-seater variant. The 2.0-liter SOHC i-VTEC engine produces a maximum output of 154PS at 6,500rpm and peak torque of 189Nm at 4,300rpm and is mated to a new Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) developed under Earth Dreams Technology for better fuel efficiency.

Starting August 9, 2017, all 36 Honda Car Dealerships will start accepting reservations for the All-New CR-V. The 5-seater gasoline variant is readily available nationwide while deliveries for the 7-seater diesel variants will start by end of September 2017. The All-New CR-V will come in 6 colors at the following suggested retail prices:

Hindi nga makabenta sa outgoing crv for the price of 1.4milyones....

My only reluctance with the CRV diesel is its (lack of) power, but as discussed here earlier it might not be that much big of a deal if one only uses it for city driving most of the time.

And it is likely that potentially big orders for the CRV diesels will be fulfilled up to next year given that they will start rolling only in September, so those considering it might need to reserve now without having a feel of how the diesel engine delivers. The impending excise tax dilemma does not help.

Torque and whatever horsepower are not impotent really to many buyers seriously. Most of CRVS are being used in city driving

Yung 2nd row mas malaki daw leg room sa Xtrail. Kung may slide adjustment yung 2nd row baka magkasya malaking midget 😉

Gas variant yan kasi hindi shift by wire. Diesel variants are shift by wire. Diesel ang mga 7 seater.

    Thanks (Received) 128

Those orientals must be SMALL people to fit in that back seat. Never would I want a CR-V sized car with a third row back seat. They are bad enough on a big bus like a Chevy Tahoe.

the pricing of the V and the SX undercuts every other manufacturer if features ang pag-uusapan. even the totl tucson lol and the Euro2 Mux. I wonder if they gonna offer discounts sa first wave ng deliveries. kasi syempre 1.6L pa din eto, remains to be seen it will have ample power sa daily grind traffic ng Manila.

but yes yun di-pindot na AT shift, that is something new to the Philippines. imagine walang lever, pindot ka kung drive, pindot ka kung reverse, and pindot ka kung drive as well as hand break. wtF! everything is push-button here na ah!

    and here's something that I can't resolve

"The gasoline variant will be front-wheel drive, while the diesel variants will be equipped with part-time four-wheel drive, Honda’s automatically-activated Real Time system."

so the diesel variants uses the same 4 wheel drive on demand na present even sa first gen CRV. eh di para ka na din naka 4x4 neto pero you can't choose, the car will choose for you. totoo ba'to all diesel variansts? if this true, grabe lamang na kagad ang CRV dito sa lahat ng PPVs
