Inside, It's wider than crosswind. Drive at 100kph, the CR-V is very stable. Crosswind is a junk at speeds above 80.
Problema lang Ng crv, it is not selling well. Kahit eto new model. Honda has the habit of overcharging customers through PMS and spare parts

How can you say it isn't selling well when it just went on sale?

Wala pang mga diesel. They're coming in a month or two.

Honda buyers demand high-end units. A lot of them are making reservations on the high-end FWD diesel.

So the few CR-Vs you see on the road, the gasoline models, are not representative of actual sales. And even then, the supply of these gas models is still limited.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Planning to get a gas variant, is it a good choice to get the CRV rather than the Forester?

worsening traffc and cngestion. low FC
resale value - just look at the market value of prev Gen Gas Frotuner as well as the outgoing CRV, you automatically lose 50% of its value in 3 years

more traffic bumper to bumper means more stress sa gasoline engine carrying a bigger body. car. tapos turbo gasoline pa ito, siguro maaga masisisra eto, how mixh are turbos nowadays? 100k+, with Honda it will be more expensive to replace

trap yan yn gasoline model nila

Are we talking base models here? I guess it would be better to see both vehicles on the flesh and give it a test drive. Both vehicles have around similar power outputs and comes with CVT trannies.

The Forester 2.0i-L is cheaper by a 100k, you get higher ground clearance, and comes standard with AWD but the platform is near the end of its life cycle and a new platform is slated for release late 2018.

The new CRV platform is younger but you get the same old 2.0L NA engine from the previous generation. Ground clearance is lower but its FWD setup maybe more fuel efficient.

If you do find yourself in a test drive with the Forester, just tell the agent you're looking at the base model. They might get you to try the Forester XT and you end up bringing it home instead of the 2.0i-L.

The comparison should be the 2.0P (not L ) of forester and CRV 2.0 S CVT. They are of closer price range and features.... leather seats, etc....

There will be another mall display in Mall of Asia on September 13-20 but will display the gas variant only. (2018 CR-V 2.0 S CVT Gas)

Honda Cars Davao - August 16-29 (SX Diesel 9 AT AWD Passion Red Pearl)

Honda Cars Carmona - August 23-30 (S Diesel 9 AT White Orchid Pearl)

Honda Cars Rizal - August 31-September 5 (S Diesel 9 AT White Orchid Pearl)

Ooh thanks! Might look at the diesel. My sister likes the features set of the gas pero ayaw na nya mag stretch sa comparable na diesel crv.

Turbo lag lang yan. Once you're in the boost range, the RS obliterates the 1.8.

For 0-100 runs, it doesn't matter since you can launch the RS at 3000 rpm.

But for realistic daily driving where you have stop and go traffic where you're off-boost, the lag is more noticeable.

It is a nuisance of sorts specially for small turbo engines. I deal with it every time I use the Fiesta.

if the new CRV is not turbo and still applies the old engine then the more na dapat wag bilin yan. flop na nga yun outgoing model coz even with th econ button, it proved to be gas guzzler in daily bumper traffic, what more sa bigger body new crv.

lets face it we measure fuel mileage here in the Phils becuase of our unique traffic system. all those fuel mileage improvements like the Ford Ecoboost walang nagyare dito. and the Explorer has become a problematic car for some owners coz hindi na utilize ang potential nya sa stop and go, I beleive walang difference eto gas crv na ito pag tumagal.

go diesel na, coz it can adapt to our prsent traffic condition, and dba mas okey yun lahat ng sasakyan mo diesel para isa na lang iintindihin mo, kelangan pa makipag sosyalan sa aocial media noh. why burden yourself with owning different types of engine configurations. kita mo ako dashcam ko iphone 5s, backup biz phone ko iphone 6 , main phone ko iphone 7 , ebook reader ko sa gabi pag naka lazyboy ako ipad mini, tapos laptop ko macbook. life is essier pag iisa lang ang engine ng lahat ng gadget mo

Yup, the lag of the turbo in stop and go was what they were talking about. But once it gets rolling the turbo stomps the NA.

Will probably go to Honda Cainta come month end to check the diesel out.

Honda's diesels are not quite as exciting as the euro diesel cars or even the PPV-based diesels.

Plus the CRV is bit expensive for what you get. Hard to buy one when other diesels are either better value or jus plain better equipped.
