the pricing of the V and the SX undercuts every other manufacturer if features ang pag-uusapan. even the totl tucson lol and the Euro2 Mux. I wonder if they gonna offer discounts sa first wave ng deliveries. kasi syempre 1.6L pa din eto, remains to be seen it will have ample power sa daily grind traffic ng Manila.

but yes yun di-pindot na AT shift, that is something new to the Philippines. imagine walang lever, pindot ka kung drive, pindot ka kung reverse, and pindot ka kung drive as well as hand break. wtF! everything is push-button here na ah!

    and here's something that I can't resolve

"The gasoline variant will be front-wheel drive, while the diesel variants will be equipped with part-time four-wheel drive, Honda’s automatically-activated Real Time system."

so the diesel variants uses the same 4 wheel drive on demand na present even sa first gen CRV. eh di para ka na din naka 4x4 neto pero you can't choose, the car will choose for you. totoo ba'to all diesel variansts? if this true, grabe lamang na kagad ang CRV dito sa lahat ng PPVs

never ako bibile nyan, given that it has all the toys there is, even surpassing the Everest / Wildtrak toys, yun itsura nya bland for my taste. i dont like long looking vehicles or a station wagon like SUV haha. kaya lang naman ako nagpo-post dito kasi nag-papractice ako ng marketing and persuasion eh. I like boosting potential market disruptors. Those are really boring lines, reminiscent of the old Mitsubishi Outlander SUV dito.

pag natabi mo pala sa Tucson eto CRV, sobrang maawa ka sa daan kung nakasakay ko sa CRV but then again dami naman electronics CRV eh ahaha

Ano kaya projected sales nito gas and diesel variant.... at nearly 1.6million. Mag ka hype kaya ito sa first 3months..

Yung outgoing crv na mas mura eh itong lang benta for the ngayon month of may or june ata ito... Lamang lang ng dalawa sa alto. at ang nakakagulat may nabobola pa pala rav4

Hmm basing on what happened hyundai sante fe before, crossover sold for 1.5m pesos (2007), daming bashers regarding reliability, lifespan etc in the end nagkaroon ng market share.

Same might happen sa crv only time will tell.

Also wondering why complain about this being underpowered. Maybe the goal is toward efficiency.

    Just my 2 cents

May reason naman to bash Hyundai. I own a tucson at hindi ko gusto. Service sa casa hindi ganun kaayos. Tapos ang ibang parts buwan ang iintayin. Wala kaming aircon for 2 months!

still a softroader OB. gravel roads. beach with firm sand. don't even dream of taking it to the sand dunes of ilocos. or pinatubo. places not even all 4x4 ppvs can go.

when i was in sagada last april there was a group of fj cruisers that tried going to the big falls. our tour guide told me they failed misserably to conquer the slippery rock trail and had to turn back. paano pa kaya kung softroader lang?

Got word from a Sales Executive from Honda in Marcos Highway:

    2.0 S CVT (5-seater) = PhP 1.539 Million

    V Diesel 9 AT (7-seater) = PhP 1.569 Million

    S Diesel 9 AT (7-seater) = PhP 1.759 Million

SX Diesel 9 AT AWD (7-seater) = PhP 2.049 Million

EDIT: Meron na palang post from yesterday. Sorry.

fafa, kahit yun wildtrak di ko iaakyat ng Pinatubo, magkano lang maghire ng 4x4 mas mura pa kung pag-uwi ko naman eh mas mahal gagastusin ko sa pyesang papalitan. those FJs who attempted that trail, I think I know what they're after, nag-picture picture lang sa habang nag-attempt umakyat, tapos yun konting edit sa snapseed then instagrammy. mission fulfilled. yun wildtrak ko black series pa naman, it so good looking all clean and shiny tapos yun front grille ko original black din, hello why would I cover it with dust.

fafa naman, you have to really know guys who buy 4x4s today, pang instagram na lang talaga mga pina-pamodify sa autobot autoworks or whatever.

but if we are for example to base the usage of this part-time 4x4 module ng CRV as compared to existing PPVs na panay naman 4x2 sa city drive. eh mukhang promising ang CRV coz it will sense like an AI robot when to engage the 4wd system as the need arises. yan ang useful.

mukang loaded nga itong crv, best sellers would be the V and S,
    for practicality V
    for added safety S
for added safety and technology SX

Mahilig talaga honda sa ganyan ... remember the 10 seater honda crv meant to compete with auv's of the day ... revo and hilander killer? that was a big joke ... ngayon eto ang 7 seater diesel ppv killer nila.

Was expecting the same diesel engine specs as the Thai version. Honda should have at least introduced the 2.4 liter gas or the 1.5 liter turbo instead of the detuned 1.6.
