one still has to turn... gracefully. hindi ba niya nakita yung dambuhalang bus!

waze guided sisinlo to pass by cuyapo... in the middle of the Nazareno fete!

I use Osmand app either sa Android HU ng kotse or sa celphone kapag I can predetermine the route to my destination. Medyo matagal kasi mag-load sa HU, and parang limited yung search capability. Pero once established na yung route, I can stake my driving on it. Pero kapag quick search ang kailangan I use Google Maps. Sa Waze I don't have as much confidence. Not sure kung di ko lang kabisado gamitin pero I do find Google Maps (and Osmand to some extent) easier to use and much more reliable.

wag kasi maging tanga sa kalsada.. eh yan pa edsa notorious sa mga bigla bukas bigla sara sa kalsada yan..

dapat din kasi ayusin yung signage.. yan ang kulang na kulang eh..

one time sa rbc ortigas, from the driveway ng tower 1, a driver drove down a set a of stairs tapos direcho sa koi pond. ang dahilan niya, dun daw siya pinadaan ng waze.

Pag madami building, minsan nag drift yan gps signal kaya erratic yung guidance ng waze..

again as driver mas alam nya dapat kung saan sya papunta.. hindi yung parang bulag na kung san dalhin eh sunod lang.. hehe

edi wow kasalanan ni waze. sa rason niyang iyan lalong lumabas na katawatawa siya if not tanga. syempre ultimate responsibility still rests with the driver.

once, waze instructed us to go into a narrow eskinita full of tricycles in bgc. i refused.

another time, it guided us to go into what i can only describe as an unpaved cattle trail from agham road, on our way to trinoma. i also refused.

Basta around BGC at Makati CBD areas, pre-determined at na-check ko na yung way ko para kung mawala man GPS signal or mag-drift nga eh at least nasa memory ko na rough detail ng route. More on QC/ Marikina kasi ako, na kung mawala or maligaw ka man pwede ka gumilid para mag-check ng other option - like Google Maps kung naka-Waze ka or vice versa. Eh sa BGC or Makati CBD hindi ka pwede basta mag-stop para magkalikot ng celphone mo.

Anytime waze instruct us to use iskinita as an alternate especially in Manila I ignore it. I believe waze think our iskinitas are clean roads and doesn't have squatters and have half of their living room on the sidewalks and some of their belongings on half of the road.

There should be a feature in the software that these roads be marked so that they will not be used in the routing...

Maybe the motorcycles using Waze are causing this. I don't think MC users update the vehicle type setting sa Waze before they use it. Relatively mabilis sa mga eskinita pag naka MC.

Buti ganyan bro. May nadaanan akong eskinita sa Taguig from C-6, yung mga tambay na nakaupo sa bangketa nakatingin lang, parang galit pa.
