Bad motoring etiquette: What you hate the most.

I sometimes do this, but I just give two short bursts to remind the lady manning the booth in a parking queue that her lane's not moving.

Minsan kasi tamad na tamad na yung attendant sa booth, kita mo ang bagal kumilos kahit na mahaba na ang pila. Pag turn ko na, sinasabihan ko sila, "Miss, tingnan mo ang pila, ang haba na o."

I don't really mind kung mabagal ang booth attendant, unless he/she has already caused a big backlog.

What I do mind is -- drivers na doon pa lang maghahalungkat ng pitaka/purse for the ticket and payment! Bwisit! Tapos kadalasan 1000 or 500php bill pa yung pambayad!

Frikkin hell! That person has been in the MALL. Nakapag gastos na siya. He/she had plenty PLENTY of time to prepare the payment for parking. He/she should have already set aside enough money for parking. He/she should have already prepared the money and the ticket/card and placed it somewhere on his/her dashboard. BUT nooooo.... kailangan doon pa lang siya maghalungkat ng bag niya para mahanap yung parking ticket at pambayad.

I've a feeling that these are the same kind of people who hold up the lines at McDo, KFC, Jollibee, etc. Ang tagal pumila, pero pagdating sa counter, doon pa lang mag iisip kung ano yung oorderin!

sa total in parañaque tumambay ako about 1hour+ na tapos pinapaalis ako ng guard na nag babantay kasi daw 15minutes parking only eh samantalang meron nga doon 2hours na naka park. sabi ko porket pangit dala kong sasakyan at nakapambahay lang ako. ayun di ako umalis tapos 20minutes later nagalit yung guard naka simangot at nag mura pa daming pinag sasabi kala mo may ari nya na yung parking. samantalang tambayan naman namin yun lagi ng mga tropa. while drinking my coke tinapon ko sa daanan tapos umalis na ako kakainis. :fire:

Ng nasa likod mo? Hehehe... Oo nga. Sarap sabihan, "Ano gusto mo, sagasahan ko ang nakaharang sa harap ko?"

Ng nasa harap mo din na ayaw magpasingit, sila pa ang galit.... di naman sila makaka-move forward din dahil traffic sa harap nila. Mas gusto nila humarang sa harap mo para di ka makadaan para siguro pare-pareho kayong maipit sa traffic.

When getting off the skyway naman and you want to go towards SM bicutan, ganyan din. While turning left at traffic papunta sa kanan, ayaw tumigil ng mga sasakyan kahit na kita na nga makakaharang lang sila tapos di naman sila makakausad. Ayaw magbigay ng konting courtesy na palusutin yung mga kakaliwa, pagdaan naman malinis pa rin pwede na sila umusad e.

Hay... di ko alam mentality ng mga ganyang tao.

Haha! oo nga bro, ewan ko ba dun sa mga yun. Sana mabasa nila ito.

Laging ganyan sa intersection, naka usad ka na may hahabol pa sa kanan mo tapos ilawan ka at bubusinahan ka pa....

asar na asar ako sa mga taong sila na nga ang mali sila pa ang galit. parang yung mga taong pag cinut ka tapos businahan mo, sila pa galit, eh madalas naman pag bumubusina ako sa mga taong cinut ako yung busina ko isang maigsi lang para lang alam niya na nan don ako at di ako tamaan. okaya yung mga sumasalubong/counterflow ano gusto niyo lumipat ako sa ibang lane para makadaan ka sa lane ko. pag di pinag bigyan sila pa ang galit, nakakaasar talaga.

Last night I was outside the church and the street was one way, a lot of cars are parked on that street so there's room for 1 to 1 1/2 car widths. Anyway, this girl on a CRV drove counter flow and to make things worst she drops off a passenger on the narrowest point of the street. The guy even wanted to get something at the back but the door was locked and he had to go back to the front and open the door. There are already 3 cars on the right way that were getting blocked. The lead car was flashing her but they still took their sweet time and to think around 10 feet away there is an open to street to the left where she can park and do all this s**t. Anyway, while the guy on the right way was flashing I can read this girls lips saying t*** to di maka hintay. Actually the guy was decent, he flashed his lights instead of honking his horns since he was in front of the church.

This may be a long story but this is just a sample of bad motoring etiquette. If you are already wrong in such a situation don't be an ass about it. This people should be apologetic. I sometimes make mistakes on the road but these are honest mistakes and I won't insist I am right when I know I made a mistake.

* renzo- dumaan din ako sa pagka teenager kaya hindi ko pinatulan, but giving the finger is way too much. kung kasama ko yung dalawang kumpare ko, baka naka headline na kami ngayon. mababait yung mga yon pero mas masamang magalit sa akin, yung isa may 4 na security detail (ex marines at police pa) i hate violence pero sometimes masarap maging vigilante para maubos ang mga salot sa lipunan

madalas sa minsan talaga, maraming mangmang talaga na di marunong gumamit ng signal lights ni di mo alam kung kakanan o kakaliwa pala sila. o yung mga taong bigla nalang magmemenor kasi kakaliwa o kakanan pala sabay kalabit sa signal. aguy sh*t!

I see these everyday, practically every few minutes. Crazy how much road rage is going on here.

I am amazed when I talk and interact with many people here in the workplace or everyday life, how courteous they are and have good manners. Then when I go and drive and hit the roads, all that goes out the window, like they become totally opposite people. It's so hard to imagine these are the same people.

Classifying certian driving behaviour as road rage is very relative.

In the good english speaking nations of the USA and UK, flashing, honking and jostling for position are considered road rage, but in places like India and here, to a smaller degree that's just normal behaviour.

I remember seeing a truck in Mumbai, he had a on the rear bumper "please honk and use dipper", meaning he wants other guys to honk and flash! Over here we have some older drivers who think the horn is a chummy greeting, or that their headlight flasher is a 'safety device'. Culture clash on the roads when people used to living in quiet, orderly neighborhoods go driving and have to mix with these sort.
