e how about yung mga animo'y natataeng magpatakbo nang mabilis sa parking area? Akala mo nasa kalsada na sila at pagmamadaliin ka e naghahanap ka ng slot...

Kahapon lang sa may greenhills, i was looking for a parking slot so I am moving slowly just enough for me to see kung ay available pang slot. Me sumunod sa aking puting jazz na bumusina. So akala ko, gusto lang mauna dahil lalabas na sya. So binilisan ko nang kaunti at naghanap ako ng spot na pwede ko sya paunahin... nung may nakita na akong spot at nakita ko na pwede na syang lumiko pa-exit, di ko na sya pinauna. Kasi kung eexit sya, e di sana lumiko na sya don sa isang way pa-exit. kaso sinundan pa rin ako kaya nung magpa-park na ako, obviously kailangan nya maghintay dahil though binibilisan ko na mag-park, mabagal pa rin ako to make sure na wala akong masasagi as I park. Ang mokong, galit na galit na para bang "natatae" na biglang bumusina nang malakas pag lagpas sa akin? Kakagigil lang kasi may iba naman way kung eexit sya talaga. At katwiran ko pa, nasa parking lot sya. Bakit di sya makahintay? To think na di naman ako ganon katagala mag-park... kakainit ng ulo... grrr....

Hah! Had a recent experience like this rin. May iba na alam na ngang nagaantay ka ng aalis sa harap mo na parking atat na atat parin at busina ng busina sa likod mo. Yung iba pagpipilitang ipagkasya talaga yung kotse nila kahit sobrang lapit na sayo para lang makalagpas sila which is just worth less than a minute of their time.

the lanes were merging, and papasok na si sentra sa lane ni vios. dapat ang mangyayari, si vios pagbibigyan si sentra at magproceed safely.

however, vios held on on his pride at nakipaggitgitan sa nakanissan sentra na lumaban naman din. panicking na mabundol si vios dahil nagkakadikitan na sila nung nissan sentra, kumabig si vios to the right at tinamaan ang revo that was passing slowly on his ( vios ) right. since natamaan niya si revo, nataranta ulit siya ( vios ) at kumabig pakaliwa ng bigla at tinamaan naman ang rear fender ng sentra.

Merge alternately dapat.. basic naman yun e. nakakainis yung mga hindi sumusunod nito at pinagpipilitan pa din mauna. yun bang sunod ka na tapos biglang bibilisan nung katabi mo para unahan ka magmerge.

I have, on many occassions, been at the receiving end of a car horn blast because I followed the alternate merge protocol. Apparently, those behind me think I'm a wuss when I don't force my vehicle against someone who's supposed to be next to merge.

Once, it was a girl (mid 20's I guess) on a Picanto (I was driving an X-trail). She even had the gall to scream "ang hina mo!" I just pointed out to a sign that said "Merge Alternately" and shouted back "ang hina mo umintindi!"

I admit I was so tempted to back up and crush her car

Those drivers you mentioned probably do the following as well:
- The moment the clear the parking ramp, they STOP their cars and scan the area for any vacant slots. If none are found, they move on to the next ramp. All the while, the cars behind are burdened by having to hang on in an incline. This is particularly annoying in SM Megamall!
- Cars that drop off passengers near the parking exit (mall entrance) of the parking building! All the while, they're causing a long queue of cars to wait behind them. Madalas ito sa Trinoma. For crissake! There is a drop off spot OUTSIDE the parking area where you are meant to drop off your passengers. The drop off spot is designed para hindi mang abala ng mga ibang tao. But no, gusto nila magbagsak ng pasahero sa loob ng masikip na parking building.
- Drivers that would open their purse and search for money ONLY when it's their turn to pay at the parking exit! They had all the time to prepare their payment before they started the car. But nooooooo... they want to do that when they're at the payment booth para mang abala ng ibang drivers sa likod.

Yup, people who do these are just inconsiderate. One more thing to add to the last rant, so they didn't prepare the payment before starting their car but as they are about to exit, kita na nila that the line is long but still, pag turn na nila tsaka palang nila ihahanda ang payment nila. And after getting their change, it takes time again for them to properly put the money in their wallet or purse.

I have a similar experience...this guy was trying to edge me out of my lane...when it was my turn to merge into traffic...eh sya yung nag-counterflow sa kabila...so di ko pinasingit...so ayun...naipit sya and mga 4 cars bago sya nakapasok ulit...pero sumabit sya dun sa isang kotse...kasi wala talaga sya sa lugar...bastos talaga

The other day naman...black innova along macapagal ave., he's using the u-turn slot..ako eh incoming traffic...instead na antayin na lumagpas kami...bigla syang nag-accelerate, while turning...almost bumped into me and another car...tapos nag-accelerate ulit para umalis...kami eh napahinto kasi nga near miss talaga.

Kung nasaan ka man...sumemplang sana kotse mo hayup ka!!!

Personally, I hate people who park stupidly and it isn't limited to parking lots. Like kanina sa Greenhills Promenade, two lanes - one for the carpark and one for circling around Promenade. Yun carpark, obviously ang haba ng pila. So one lane nalang. Problema lang, there's this shitty (sorry, annoying talaga) family na nag-hazard and blocked the entire LANE para lang magtakeout ng food. I mean... WTF? They practically jammed the entire lane until somebody from the cars behind me got irked and went down to talk with the driver. So stupid.

And there was a time sa Trinoma. A damned car parked parallel on a vertical parking slot. Effectively hogging 3 lanes. I mean... WTF?

But the thing is... when you're in the car, you shouldn't be using your cell phone or rummaging through your purse or not paying attention to the stop light.

When I was still taking my driving lessons from A1 a long long time ago, that was the first thing my instructor told me the first time I was in front of an intersection. If you're at the front of the intersection, you have the added responsibility of being ensuring you don't delay the cars waiting behind you.

If I see that the driver in front of me is old, that means mabagal na reaction time niya. So I let him/her take time to get his engine running. Okay lang. Other times, if I see a young-ish driver taking time to cross the intersection, I assume that he/she is a noob and is still fumbling with the clutch. I keep quiet and wait patiently for the driver to get going.

However, if I see the person in front texting or talking on the phone or retouching her makeup or rummaging her purse, I make sure that he/she knows that the lights have already turned green by giving a "hey green na!" beep.

also, 5 seconds is a bit long to ask the rest of the motorist to wait for you to finish your personal chores inside your car.

most traffic lights have barely a minute for the green so 5 seconds means at least 2 cars on the queue being denied their passage.

just be curious that stopping on a red sign is not the same as yielding on a bay or parking.
