    - Oh I just recalled this happened a few times with me. There is a no right on red sign but the driver behind me keeps honking his horn even when the light is still red.

    - And another is also honking is horn when the streets were clear but the light was red.

    - Jeepneys that usually slow down at the corner when the light is green while picking up or waiting for passengers.

Here at The Fort, the opposite is prevalent. There are intersections with A CLEAR SIGN that says, "Turn Right With Caution". Yet, there are still drivers who wait until the light turns green before they turn right.

That happens to me often at night. Really annoying indeed!

...and empty taxis that run at 2kph in the 2 rightmost lanes (or middle of the two rightmost lanes)

Here's another one. Traffic is slow. When the car in front of you moves forward a bit, that stupid driver behind you honks his horn! PERO yung horn honking niya yung mellow staccato honking. (pit-pit-pit-pit) After 10 minutes of hearing that "pit pit pit pit" each an every time the driver in front of you advances his car, you'll actually find it far more irritating than that angry car horn honking (HOOONNNNNNK). Tapos kung titignan mo sa rear view mirror mo yung itsura nung idiot driver sa likod mo -- you'll see that he's SMILING. He's actually enjoying what he's doing!

My wife whenever I feel angry sa mga bobong drivers, sasabihin lang niya sa akin, "Ikaw ang na aapektuhan ng galit mo, why will you drag down yourself to thier level?" sa akin gusto ko i-roll down my window & malutong na P****NG I## M# or flash dirty finger, maybe Iam wrong to expect this ignoramus driver to behave the civilized way of driving.
Everyday driving here in metro manila is a hell & a short cut to heart attack. Riding LRT or MRT even its like sardinas mas maginhawa para sa akin.

^ me too, if only we had a decent public transport system here, I'd leave the car at home more often.

    1. When you are turning to the right on a two lane road (syempre slow down), and the car on the other lane coming at you hi-beams, signals, speeds up and cuts you (kahit na siya pa ang magcocross).

    2. Retards who can't wait in queue in the parking and honks (As if God will move the vehicles in front).

    3. In parking areas, when you put your hazard lights on, claiming a spot as yours when a parked vehicle is about to leave, comes a butthead in front of you and steals your slot, because he had the maneuverability to park first.

    4. When you are about to turn left on a main road with traffic lights, you follow the line in front of you when the traffic light is still red, and then when it turns green, the vehicles at your back move out of line and squirm their way in front blocking the perpendicular road.
OR, when you are in line to turn left, some idiot or idiots, use the next lane (on your right) to overtake all those in line. When the light is red for the left turners and green for straight path, they block the path of all those going straight!

    ROAD RAGE according to Wikipedia:

The following are common manifestations of road rage:

    * Generally aggressive driving, including sudden acceleration, braking, and close tailgating.
    * Cutting others off in a lane, or deliberately preventing someone from merging.
    * Sounding the vehicle's horn in intimidating or threatening melodies.
    * Flashing lights excessively.
    * Yelling or exhibiting disruptive behavior at roadside establishments.
    * Driving at high speeds in the median of a highway to terrify drivers in both lanes.
    * Rude gestures (such as "the finger", or "mean face").
    * Shouting verbal abuses or threats.
    * Intentionally causing a collision between vehicles.
    * Hitting other vehicles.
    * Exiting the car to attempt to start confrontations, including striking other vehicles with an object.
    * Threatening to use or using a firearm or other deadly weapon.
    * Throwing projectiles from a moving vehicle with the intent of damaging other vehicles.

Here's a good link to watch about aggressive idiotic drivers:

Road Rules don't apply in Metro Manila. Drivers, pedestrians, authorities, and other beings including dogs and cats (roadkill) that use our roads constantly forget or do not use the rules.

Trying to prove that your are absolutely right in a non-contact, no accident scenario is futile (when you try to push your will or way because you know you are right or just the feeling that you want to teach that "bobo" driver a lesson).

But that does not mean we should not learn them. RULES/LAWS are VERY USEFUL in vehicluar accidents, police reports and in court . When you know the law, you can win your case.

It's hard to prove or teach "right of way" or "road courtesy" to drivers who just pass by you with a glare and who can't hear your shouting. Revenge would probably get you in trouble (or nowhere).

It's a cliche, but we all just have to be calm on the road.
Have a semi-automatic as your passenger, and all will be fine. HEHEHE.

I see these everyday, practically every few minutes. Crazy how much road rage is going on here.

I am amazed when I talk and interact with many people here in the workplace or everyday life, how courteous they are and have good manners. Then when I go and drive and hit the roads, all that goes out the window, like they become totally opposite people. It's so hard to imagine these are the same people.

Hindi naman lahat kami retarded. Hahahah!

I sometimes do this, but I just give two short bursts to remind the lady manning the booth in a parking queue that her lane's not moving.

Minsan kasi tamad na tamad na yung attendant sa booth, kita mo ang bagal kumilos kahit na mahaba na ang pila. Pag turn ko na, sinasabihan ko sila, "Miss, tingnan mo ang pila, ang haba na o."

When you are on a T-Junction without a stoplight and you are about to turn left and vehicles coming from your left doesn't give way even though there's a queue in front of them. Tsk tsk... Bubusinaan ka pa!

Ng nasa likod mo? Hehehe...

When getting off the skyway naman and you want to go towards SM bicutan, ganyan din.
