brand new na kasi bilin mo!

The 2.0 is not really a bad motor. But Ford stopped making that motor already and had to outsource engines from Mazda (hence the move to the 2.3).

Actually, 2.3L talaga dapat ang ilalabas nila nung una..kaso nagkaroon ng problem ung engine na hindi nila agad maresolve kaya ung 2.0L Zetec engine ng Focus muna ung ginamait for the meantime..kaya ung 3.0L Duratec naman ung naging mabenta sa Escape because of the specs.

Guys, did some inquiring, and I found out na super mahal pala ng brake pads ng escape. Its around 11-14 thousand, is this correct?

Is this a sign of a high maintenance cost for the escape? How much does it cost to tune up the escape?

    Thanks guys!

maybe you are talking about brake pads for all four corners - then it is just priced right.

a pair of brake pads for the rav4 costs around 6K.

for that price bili ka na lang ng EBC brakepads. There's this new EBC line na equivalent sa greenstuff pero made for SUVs. It's labeled as "EBC SUV" Ask Auto_xer i think they have these. baka meron para sa escape.

For the CR-V 4.8k brake pads for the front pag sa casa. EBC SUV pads are around 7.2k. I got a good deal from a guy selling it at our club i opted for EBC redstuff for 5k

i dont know y brake pads of ur cars are expensive, full set front n rear for my e36 only cost more or less 3k ata. bendix standard, though thats dealer price. i didnt go for high performance brake pads cos dont wanna risk the chance of wearing out my rotors sooner.

yes you should have no problem with ford escape and velocity. i have a lot of friends doing that already. the only drawback is that everytime they fill up with velocity, for some reason sumasakit daw bulsa nila hehe!
