well, if youre comparing the 3.0 to the 2.3, it doesnt take a rocket scientist to tell that the 3.0 is gonna guzzle up more gas while stuck in traffic.


But still kung ako kukuha, i'd get the 3.0 over the 2.3.

Preference ko sa choices mo ... White, Black, Silver.

White since medyo malinis tingnan and safer than black since mas visible.

Black, least safe color pero really looks good if you can maintain the color properly.

Silver... good compromise between the two :-)

oo nga pag black nakikita ang gasgas pero astig tignan pag naka chrome wheels ka :D
pero pag silver naman baka di na mapansin ang chrome wheels kasi nagkakulay na diba
choise ko rin white mas di masydong halata ang gasgas and elegand tignan pero madumihin manan :confused: :D

It rather suits my needs and wants as of now. Ive been driving 2.0Ls for quite a while now and gusto ko lang maka-experience ng 3.0L power

Hihintayin ko na lang yung Escape 3.5L DOHC V6 :-) Its coming out in 2006 with about 250 HP.

worst mileage i got w/ the 3.0L V6 is 3.9km/l bumper-to-bumper traffic. average around metro manila is 4.5km/l. greenhills to tanay, rizal via marcos highway w/o traffic w/o hirit 6.6km/l.

if you want power, reliability and resale value just buy a crv and install a brand new type R engine ala autoplus' unit. how quick? it beats their wrx in the quarter mile!

Nope... the hybrid has a 2.3L 155HP engine

I recommend you get the 2.3L, it is powerful and bigger than the 2.0 yet more fuel efficient.

...we got the escape 3.0 V6. yep, got gobs of power but i also test drove the 2.3L and it was also no slouch at all. kung habol mo yung moonroof, maybe you can have them install one should you decide on the 2.3.

Been looking around second hand escapes, maraming 4x2 2.0L na available mga 2003-04 models, okay na ba ito? in terms of performance, speed, power, comfort etc.? ang 2.3L version ba is 4x4? or when you say its a 4x4 escape, automatic ba na its 2.3L or may 2.0L din na 4x4? Thanks.

Okay naman ang 2.0L. Sufficient ang power para sa driving around cities and towns.

Pero kung makakakuha ka ng 2.3L, mas okay na un. Masmalakas makina, masmabilis at masmatipid pa sa gasolina. Masbago pa, wala na rin ung ibang problems ng 2.0 di mo na kailangan dalin sa casa for recalls.

Ung 2.3L, puro auto tranny na at walang 4x4. Pero ung 2.0L merong manual and auto, meron din 4x4 and 4x2 lang. Ung 3.0L naman automatic and 4x4 lang.
