The most important thing to remember is to drive safely and be aware of your surroundings.
Hi fitdrive, I understand your reasons. But I also agree with AG4 that there's a lot of enhancements with car safety nowadays and cars, mini-SUVs and even some SUVs might end up total wreck if hit by a speeding Bus or a 10 wheeler (case to case basis). Just curious what type of vehicles do you own or planning to buy? Hope you get over that incident so you could freely choose the car you want.

Are these pictures taken in China? Interesting to note that their plate numbers use letters and numbers, even the parking slots use english numbers.

Yes its in China. If you look closer on the plate you'll notice there's a Chinese character before letter B and its an abbreviation of Liaoning 辽宁 a province in China.

Went to the EcoSport mall tour in MoA a while ago, here are some pics that I took:

EcoSport Trend with DRL on. They're not too noticeable in in-house lighting, so I'm not sure if it will still be noticeable in broad daylight.

    Mags for the Titanium Variant

    Mags for the Trend Variant

    Rear door/cargo door
I noticed that the rear door/cargo door is attached to a spring instead of just letting it hang free. I don't know this has been reported by other people who have seen the EcoSport in person but there is no way to just open the door how wide you want it to be (when you leave it open halfway it will still open to about 90 degrees) if ever there are cars parked behind. This may pose a problem when inside the parking lot where there is a high chance that another car is parked behind you.

1st row view of the Trend (only showing M/T variant for Trend)
I noticed there's no adjustable wheel for the vents to adjust how much air goes out like with the Fiesta. Not sure if there's some other way to do it here.

    2nd row Titanium variant
Thoughtful of them for adding another 12v outlet for the 2nd row passengers seat on the right side.

    Moonroof for the Titanium variant
A bit small and could have been placed further back instead

    Test drive:
I did notice that even when pedaling hard the acceleration was not as fast as that of the Fiesta. When flooring, RPM goes up to 3000 without any drastic change in speed. This is with 3 passengers inside the car and driving on flat ground. I did not notice the jerking of the car as much as I am experiencing when driving our Fiesta, but then again I may not have been able to recreate the conditions to check whether it is still evident or not. Noticed from the instrument cluster that the current FC displaying 16.6L/100km (Note: I am not in any way saying that this car is bound to have poor fuel economy, I am merely posting what the instrument cluster is showing me).

    Hi Louie,

Did you test drive the AT or MT? If AT, were you using D mode? I've seen some videos of fiesta with AT using D mode and RPM goes up to the red line in full throttle. Is your fiesta same with this? FE is poor with 6km/l but could be due to different drivers throttle input during test drive.

Here's the video of the fiesta powershift I'm referring to. I would think that you're fiesta works the same.

    Thanks in advance!

Only Titanium models (AT) available for test drive at MOA. The test drive route is just around the block where the mall is located so there's hardly a chance for the transmission to upshift to higher gears. Went around 3 times during test drive. Reset the Fuel Economy meter before driving, got 8-9 km / liter average speed of 20 kph, max speed of about 40-50 kph.

As what Walter mentioned, Ford is only showing their Titanium variants for the test drive. As for our Fiesta, I have been keeping my RPM shift at around 2000, and despite my efforts the fuel economy remains the same. However, I noticed that 2 of our tires are already not in their optimum psi level (which is around 38, I think) and are down to 20. I have reinflated those tires and check whether FC will still stay the same.

    Mga Bossing,

How's the space on the driver , passenger and back seats? You think the seats are comfortable enough for long distance travel?

Can't believe that the Titanium has all the bling-bling like the push start system, sunroof, rain sensing wiper blade all in at the price of below 1M. I also like the voice command bluetooth feature the only downside for me is the added length of the rear spare tyre. Eco-Sport is truly bang for the buck.

With the passenger seat pushed all the way back I think there's still enough space for a person to sit comfortably behind, although more inclined than normal yung back seats compared to the Fiesta, baka para mabilis rin sila makatulog . Having 2 passengers at the back will be more comfortable than having 3, pero we've tried and fitted 4 adults and 1 child in our Fiesta before and kumasya naman, although you can't expect comfortability with that number of passengers :hihihi:

The rear seat back inclination can be adjusted.

Yeah, the rear spare tire cover is quite bulky.

This is how you open and close the air vents. Push towards the close vent symbol.

Any other who were able to check the FC during the test drive?

    Have reserved Trend AT

The back is surprisingly spacious with its mini size and the DRL is also a big plus.

However, the design of the door hinge is a turnoff especially if you need to store items in the trunk often

The rear door hinge is just fine, the shock/spring assist is necessary since the door is quite heavy with the spare tire and cover attached. One just needs to be careful same as with opening any door.

All of the doors feel heavy and sturdy. They close solidly.

Just thinking that they could have just removed the spring and allowed it to be moved freely just like the Everest.
