An SA said that units will arrive in April. While in Quezon Ave said they will have the units next week. Diffferent updates, same owner.

i was able to test drove both at and mt.... its true, at feels like under powered but enough for city driving.
for mt, you can hear the engine specially when you accelerate. by the way i tested it here in sm cebu.

cebu has 25k price higher compared to manila due to freight charge. does it really cost 25k for freight from manila to cebu?

ahhwwww... that sounds bad!!! why do they have to add freight charges when they can easily route some of the units and directly drop shipment at cebu port instead of dropping it at Manila then transport to Cebu....

Thats true SRP is ex Manila. They really add freight cost from Manila to Visayas and Mindanao.

The 25K freight for Cebu seems to be okay. In Mindanao freight cost ranged from 33K to 35K.

That sound really sad..... SRP is good only for manila buyers.... Any update on the delivery of the units? I have not seen one running on the roads here in our area...Muntinlupa... I guess everyone still on the waiting list....

That sounds about right. Most if not all brands add freight charges to the prices of cars delivered to dealers outside Manila. They call this the "destination charge" in the US where SRP usually applies only to the state the cars are made or arrive in.

One SA at Ford Alabang said that units (MT in particular) will be ready for release "around early April." That was his answer after I asked him early today. It just probably means release date is not confirmed yet.

So possibly nagbago yun initial March 26 or 27 arrival and release.

Hope this won't be another case of India where releases took months to a year. With thousands booked for reservations then suddenly Ford increases prices with those with deposit/reservations not price protected.

    Hope not.
