Had a crack at it yesterday at MOA, my overall impression is it deserves to be in my garage. Trend A/T at least.

    Getz for sale, anyone? ^^

Then you'll have people complaining it's too heavy to open. Can't please everyone.

According to the S.A. Ford will be importing more of the Trend variant. Few Titanium variants.

Now to wait which Ford dealer / agent will offer the best deal and deliver on their promises.

Kaya kayang mabuksan fully yung likod while parked at the mall, to load the groceries?

Yes... but you have to park the car with its front facing the wall or facing another car. You can't park backing into a wall unless you want the front end of the car sticking out or you have to move the car prior to loading your groceries. It's tolerable because it is the same with my Jimny.

Thank you for sharing the pictures. I prefer the alloy wheel design of the Trend MT... simply because it is easier to clean. Less chance for your fingers to get caught on small crevices while cleaning.

Test drove the Ecosport Titanium last Friday. Pang-10th ata ako sa listahan.

Shifting is at 3k rpm. Tried to overtake the other Titanium unit (Blue) kaso parang kulang sa power. Although kung stop & go in between 1st & 2nd gear, with a light foot, ok naman acceleration. Mas tahimik pa din engine ng Honda Jazz and it shifts between 2-2.5k rpm.

Wanted to test drive the Trend MT kaso hindi daw available sabi nung SA. Kasi dun sa Glorietta meron daw Trend MT for test drive. Sa MOA wala. Bakit kaya? Is this has to do sa dealership na partner during the road show? Sa MOA, Ford Manila Bay ang dealership. I think sa Glorietta is Ford Global.

Spare tire is full alloy wheel daw sabi nung SA. Didn't had a chance to open the wheel cover. Nasa ilalim yung lock. Tailgate opens at 90 degrees. Will have to park this facing the wall kung maraming ilalagay sa likod.

Backseat can be reclined. Worry ko lang yung durability nung tali (same as used on the 3rd row seat unlocking of the innova). Kapag hila mo, hold it, then adjust mo yung inclination ng back rest. Madali sumakay sa backseat. Concern for me is yung pagbaba kasi medyo palalim yung loob and sasayad yung paa mo palabas sa door. Taas mo ng kaunti pa feet mo. I think this was the same nung naunang mga vios. 3 persons can fit at the backseat.

Compartment space is ok. Kasya nga yung maliit na washing machine. Kapag inangat yung carpet, may lagayan ng tools.

Sabi nga nila mini-suv daw ito. Medyo cramped ang feel versus the toyota vios. Pero I love the interior. Also loved the LED park light. Bangis tingnan.

Tried to look for the alternator and mataas ang pagkakalagay kaya siguro they claimed na 550 mm ang water wading depth. Mataas ang electricals although hindrance is the AC compressor na nasa baba ng konti. Horn is at the passenger side ng engine bay - sa taas. Single horn lang ang napansin ko. Merong konting naka-labas dun sa fender liner sa rear wheels. Design ata 'to maybe to make splashes outward and not stain sa body paint. although sabi sa brochure meron available mudguard pa.

Like yung uneven paint sa engine bay. Uneven din yung pagkaweld dun sa side.

Will wait for the availability sa April for the Trend MT Candy Red. There's a little apprehension since this is all new sa philippines. Issues may arise just like the Ford Fiesta before on the rack & pinion, and water droplets sa headlight. And the DCT problems na I hoped naayos na. But hey, I bought the Mirage when it was just a month old. Swertihan na lang sa matapat na unit. 8)

Ang peak torque nya na 140Nm nasa 4K RPM but not much torque difference from 2K RPM. Based din sa torque performance graph ang 1.5L almost linear from 2K to 6K RPM. Baka ma-compensate din nito yung engine power with using S mode or manual shifting in overtaking since it can rev up to the red line for every gear shift.

Tolerable naman. Maingay in a sense na abot na kasi ng 3k rpm before shifting.

But wala bang issues ito in the long run? Or after quite some time mag-self learn na ung ECU? Kumbaga tuturuan mo ung ECU through the S mode. Possible kaya yun?

Test drove the Ecosport earlier at MOA. Sandali lang, paikot lang kasi ng MOA. Suspension and leg room are okay, engine power seems adequate. Talo lang siya on two aspects: 14km/l claimed mileage (as stated by the sales agent) and lack of a navigation system. On those two alone, hindi ko ipagpapalit ang G4 ko.

Ano daw po yung 14kpl? Highway/Mixed? Yung mirage ko 15kpl city driving. 33kpl highway(olongapo-pangasinan 5 passengers w/luggage).. although I still want to have the Trend MT.

Long drive daw, sabi ng ahente, so I presume he meant highway driving. Since I drove the A/T variant, baka mas mapataas pa kung M/T, but not by much. Cargo space is also a bit disappointing compared to the G4.

On the plus side, hindi naman siya ganun kataas tignan compared to the pictures. I was initially concerned about the high center of gravity, especially when negotiating turns at high speed.

Ang pagkalam ko is yung ECU is learning even when using D mode. Never ko pa nagamit S mode sa Fiesta ko kasi nakalimutan ko na how to shift when in manual mode, although di ko ramdam yung pagka"learning" ng ECU even after 3k km. Will have to check this when I get to my next PMS in 5k.

First pms is 1000, although wala pang change oil service yun. Libre yung parts and labor sa 5000, and parts lang ang libre sa 10k. Yun yung offer samin.
