I'm not sure with that. Service adviser told me na 10k n ang next oil change ko dhil full syn ang ginagamit ko.

In my desire to keep my explo off the rain last Monday, i hide inside Ford Alabang yesterday
afternoon before the heavy down pour. To justify my long stay, i ended up forced to buy the
mudguards they have on stock. After the rain end, my explo has a mudguards just fitted ready
to take the waters along the road. That was an expensive shelter i did as it cost me 5,768 for all
    4 pieces.

Tuwang-tuwa na siguro ang Ford Alabang sa yo... they're one satisfied dealer

Yung mga accessories na nabili mo sa kanila, would you know if they got it from FGP or 3rd party? Kasi sa Ford Global, lahat wala, I asked the accessories department (3rd party) wala sila. Pati sa parts department (in-house), wala din.

Not really bro, remember they lost my order of explo to Global so what ever their getting now is not even worth a consolation. hahaha...their getting it from FGP kasi one time asked them, order pa daw sa planta. it's just so happen meron silang stock kaya ako nakapagpakabit.

One funny thing is yung isang SA nila, tuwang-tuwa sa explo ko kasi meron LA Lakers plate sa harap. Lakers fan din pala.

    up ko lang.

over the weekend decided to waste a full tank of gas while gas prices are cheap(not really but compared to a couple of months ago it is cheap). anyway me and my brother decided to cruise at nlex/sctex then back, i was trying to keep up with his c63 so most of the time i was doing 150-180kph todo hataw na ako non while he was just cruising. FC clocked in at 3km/liter without noticing it, won't do that ever again. na pa aray na lang ako pag balik ng makati. had a blast with the explorer but not so much when i had to fill up again.

How long did the trip take ? From Makati to SCTEX ? Then from SCTEX to Makati ?

Good thing both of you did not get caught for speeding. This is when a radar detector comes in handy.

When you're pushing a brick wall through the air at over 180 km/h, you need a lot of gas...

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

*EQA: im sure you could buy one.

*#1: we left makati around 4am and got back around 8am. We made a couple of quick stops though.

We didn't have a radar detector i guess wala pang ng huhuli ng ganon kaaga.

*nicky: yup, but the great thing with the explorer when i was going 150-180kph it didn't feel like i was going that fast.

    You'd probably get a similar result in a gasoline ML350 or GL350.

If you want to keep up with the C63, you might need to get a V8 Mustang GT. :D

    Yumyum. Mustang V8: 3m.

    Vortech Supercharger kit... maybe 300k.

    3.3m... 600+ hp. Bye-bye, C63...

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

A stock mustang won't be able to keep up with the c63 even if it's the mustang boss. A supercharged mustang will keep up with a stock c63, my brother already raced one supercharged with full exhaust, it needs more mods to smoke the c63 in stock form. But my brothers c63 isnt stock.

So what's the ideal speed to achieve maximum fuel economy when traveling in highways? 100-120 km/h?

i agree with istan, it's the rpm and how soft you step on the gas not how many kph you're going.

any common problem with this model? I really like how this looks...better than the Chevy Traverse and cheaper with more features. Ford has a lot of bad reputation, but it's best to hear it from owners of this new generation Explorer.....anyone having problems with the Explorer? I saw the model at the auto show before...what I noticed was the power 3rd row seat button was showing wear...it didn't work all the time.

Is the supply still an issue? the price increase justifies the added features of the car...

What are the mods of his C63?

I guess you'll just need a to find a gray market 662hp 2013 Shelby GT500 to beat that modified C63.
    Top Speed 200mph, 0-60 in 3.5 seconds.

PS: I was surprised though that the Mustang GT could beat the stock C63 AMG on Motor Trend's figure 8 test.
    412hp 2011 Mustang GT (2013 makes 420hp)
    Lateral Accel: 0.97g
    Figure-8: 24.7sec * 0.77g

    481hp Mercedes C63 AMG Coupe
    Lateral Accel: 0.94g (avg)
    Figure-8: 24.9 sec * 0.78 g (avg)

I just relaized this thread is about the Explorer.

What's its rpm when you're cruising at 120km/h?
