*spynz, bro how much to do the black paint on the rims?
Boss. I don't remember exactly but roughly 8k dahil size 20rims. Hotwheels ang gumawa.

Regarding sa bumper protector i bought it in US.
Dont worry wala akong planong lagyan ng carbon fiber sticker ang EX ko hehe Sa bubong ng Elantra ko iniisip ko lagyan hehehe

The best to foil is the cars because the roof is plain or smooth. Strongly not advisable ang FOIL ng roof.
i recommend foilacar, call lester the owner. expensive but quality work naman. a lot of my friends nag pa gawa din don kahit mahal. yung iba kasi after ilan months lang panget na tingnan tapos pag tinanggal mo bakbak pati pintura mo. sa foilacar yung brother ko pina foil niya buong car niya never nag ka problema after more than a year, tapos nung pina palitan na niya ng kulay pag tanggal ng foil walang sira parang brand new ulit auto niya. yung ibang friends ko so far wala naman problema yung pagka foil.

Unfortunately, the Ford Edsa sales ladies at the time will never pass my standards hehe. The showroom itself was run down and here you have 2 slightly middle aged ladies who couldn't be bothered while playing Candy Crush on their phones. Dala pa ata ng isa anak nya who was all over the showroom doing cartwheels. Talk about professionalism and it's very big contrast compared to the Subaru showroom next door. :P

I have a few other cars in my shortlist but will probably visit the other Ford showrooms soon. Thanks!

I finally replaced the OEM wipers for the passenger and driver sides. It's been so annoying with the streaking and what not.

I replaced them with BOSCH ICON OE. It's about 98% fit since there is a minor gap even though I've heard the "click" when installed. No more streaking and best of all the, the blades can be replaced with new ones without buying the whole wiper set. =)

Still waiting for the running board shipment. tick tock tick tock...

I've been wanting to paint my wheels with gunmetal color. Kaya lang I don't want to remove the wheels. Kind of a hassle.

My friend still hasn't installed the step boards that he bought online for his EX. He can't find anyone willing to install kasi rare ang EX hehe. Does anyone here know anyone who's an expert in these kind of situations?

What brand did he purchase? That's the reason why I bought the Dee Zee running boards; easier to install since no drilling required.

Sir does it happen all the time, has been like that from the beginning, or becomes OK after a restart?
I'm going to pick up mine next week, 3.5V6 limited+. I'm just wondering if I'll get the same problem.

Maybe he just got unlucky and got the unit with a buggy MFT. A software upgrade should do the trick

it happens rarely like thrice for the duration the vehicle is with us. *redmoclip, yes a restart does the trick but it bothers us in the long run.

    GOOD MORNING ALL!

I got a letter from Ford Group Philippines this weekend regarding an MFT upgrade to v.3.5.1. FINALLY! I will schedule it at FORD Makati since FORD Alabang is quite a drive these days hehe!

On another note, my TPMS alerted me this Friday while driving under heavy rain. Filled up the tires the following morning with 30 PSi but alert did not go off. Read some forums since then and found out that THE TIRES SHOULD BE FILLED WITH 35 PSi to reset the alert. Just thought I'd share this with everyone.

*maranello: my MFT had been unresponsive a couple of times before. Do a master reset/reboot from the MFT screen panel while the vehicle is ON. That solved the problem for me lalo na when I switched different IPODs before. nag hang siya. Has your MFT been upgraded already since your purchase? If not, then there's a new update v3.5.1, which is supposed to be more responsive. Baka you will have to leave your unit sa CASA for a day para sa update. At make sure meron at least HALF a tank of gas in your unit while they do the update kasi kailangan naka ON ang vehicle. Hassle noh?

Mabuti ka pa nakakatanggap ka ng letter from FGP. Kahit yung sa unang upgrade wala akong natanggap pero sabi ng FGP when I called their Sta Rosa hotline ay napadala na daw.

In my case, the TPMS alert goes off when it's around 28psi. Pag nagpapa-hangin kasi ako ay 36 psi palagi so talagang nawawala yung alert.

hi guys!anything new about burnt smell issue? My 2012 EX has been in and out of casa for a couple of TSBs on this issue but smell still lingers, though reduced a bit. Casa guys working together with Ford plant guys have been taking long to fix the problem. It is just downright frustrating! If we are on same plight, we should hold hands and bring this matter seriously to Ford Phil top management.
