Yet you will have to wait up to 1 year if you don't pay D.I.

Hopefully supply issues (especially on the 3.2 WT MT) would no longer be a problem by the end of the year.

That's what we thought in 2013, since it's been a full year since the Ranger's release. But now, approaching the middle of 2014, several variants are still very hard to come by.

How can Ford PH grow if we're not given enough support by Ford Asia Pac? It's one thing to be allotted lots of units but be unable to sell, but our case is the opposite - demand is through the roof, but the warehouses are empty.

I just researched, were not the only one's with a problem, some thai customers (where rangers are made) have extremely long waiting lists

For 150k more than the XLT, you get bigger rims, more toys, and more exterior bling.

Pretty good pricing, but the question is, may supply ba?

Also, 3.2 is pretty pricey at 270k more than the 2.2 just for the engine and 4x4.

IMO pang upgrade mo nalang yan 150k... your xlt would look much better pa than a wildtrak...

SA 150k you can get 20" mags and tires 70k bigger shoes na... overland rollbar 16.2, raptor grill 6.5k, hood protector 1.8k... genuine leather seat covers and sidings 18k as good as wildtrak na po, soft bed liner cover 6k... 3M generic matting... 3k.. snorkel 9k... and rocker front bumper 50k.. total 180k.. 30k nalang problema mo... kaya benta mo naman stock tires and rims mo..

naka simpleng setup ka na na poging pogi...

Sulit na yung WT. Engine performance alone will make you happy. Smooth ang strong feeling with extra power always available on tap.

Side curtain airbags, Traction control, brake wheel traction(like A-trac sa FJ), ESP, trailer antiway, hill assist, hill descent... hindi ito mabibili after

Interior looks is just awesome. Sure you can put seatcovers like it but thats about 30k. Reverse sensor with camera 30k, step bar, 18inch wheels all will add to the price.

Oh how about dual mode climate controls, electric seats, cool box...

Sa tingin ko sulit talaga WT3.2

...or I could be wrong and in love lang talaga ako sa bago kong ranger

That's if you want those things. Not everyone wants an off-road look Ranger. It's also nowhere what I'd call a simple setup.

I would prefer an OEM-look Ranger that drives better than all those pangporma Rangers that will never even see a dirt road.

    Different strokes for different folks.

Sulit naman talaga yung WT over XLT due to the added features and better looks out of the casa. Like I said, good pricing for the 2.2.

Sa 3.2 medyo mahal for me yung almost 300k gap just for the engine and 4x4 because you can match the 3.2's power through mods much cheaper, while the 4x4 goodies aren't very useful for day-to-day use for most people. Most people just buy the TOTL for porma but the 3.2 and 2.2 WT look almost identical from outside.

That said, if I were to buy a Ranger again, definitely the 3.2 MT WT. And mukhang kahit mahal yung 3.2 super haba pa rin ng pila. Maybe Ford should price it at 1.6M para magbalance naman yung supply nila sa demand.

for me its simple... for a really great mods... dapat naka nitto mud tires ka na at least 35", lift na at least 4", rollbar with basket, race chip, old man emu suspensions, 41" led bar... then 4x4 din dapat at may winch...

side by side... IMO the wildtrak will look pale in comparison with an xlt or even with an xl with mods...

That's like saying a tricked-out Civic with fancy race parts is better than a sleeper Civic that's just as fast but looks close to stock.

Ang akin lang bro, hindi porket mas maraming mods, mas maganda. I respect people who mod their Rangers (or whatever car) to high heavens. Yung iba maganda naman, pero ako kasi (and I know na there are others like me) yung tipo na gusto ng kotse na mukhang stock with a few subtle upgrades to differentiate it from the average stock unit without straying too much from the OEM look.

At the end of the day, it's a matter of respect and understanding that each person has different tastes.

True ... I like stock look. I don't like wheels with low profile tires and sticking out of the fenders but I may go for a/t tires with stock WT wheels. mods for me simple lang like a good canvas cover compatible to my sports bar. HiD 4300k, Tint black, and soon change to a louder horn.

I guess different folks different strokes.

when it comes to car's, mas gusto ko pa talaga stock look... kesa may mga side skirts, spoilers, et.al.

pero pag pickup kasi.... like our ranger... the tires look so small from its wheel wells... IMO "parang may kulang" tapos 4x4 on highway terrain tires? a 20" with 275 55 tires may looks sakto... imo perfect fit should be 285 55r20....

dont get me wrong ha... magandang maganda yung wildtrak... " in my opinion and taste mas nagagandahan ako sa ranger WILDTRAK MAN YAN o xlt na may simple mods. 120-180k worth... kesa sa stock look..

pero sabi mo nga... at the end of the day its a matter of one taste nalang...

and budget... parang ako... i find it parang mahal yung wildtrak sa price nya... compare mo sa xlt... pang upgrade ko nalang yun...

pang bile ng Gwapong mags and tires... rollbar... and bed cover...

practical lang sir.... with may kasamang kunting WOW factor..

and lastly.... ang deal breaker sakin why i choose the xlt over the wildtrak is.. the long waiting period ng wildtrak......

For me deal maker naman yung 1.5days waiting ko sa WT3.2L. Hindi nga ako maniwala nung sinasabi nila na before holy week malalabas unit ko(3days togo). And I did not pay any DI or vkool tint. Insurance ko 48k. A bit high but ok lang

Guys any of you here had transmission problems with their ranger? Mine is at the dealer now ... It gets stuck in first gear and eventually the powertrain light came out. 8 month old palang 9500km

Nag limp mode? Nagkaron din ba ng mild shift shock before it happened? How about the CEL umilaw din ba?

Nangyari kasi sa akin may mild shift shock siya after 3500 km odo reading, i was observing kung lumala pa. Then while driving biglang umilaw ang powertrain warning lamp and it could only go up to 3rd gear. I tried turning the engine off and on saka umilaw ang CEL. Pag uwi ko ng bahay and reversing to park the vehicle ang lakas ng shift shock going from D to N and R. I tried all, P, R, N, D and grabe ang shift shock tumatagilid talaga ang pick up. Pero after maybe 5 minutes with the engine off (i got down to check the oil level and look around the engine and tranny for any obvious signs i can report later to the casa) i started the engine again and all the alarms were gone. I test drove it and all was ok. Idadala ko sana sa casa for a check up but meron ako lakad so i took the chance using it. Ok naman na siya, even went off road a bit, using 4H on the gravel and 4L on some mud, then sa hiway went up to 180kph (just to test). Nawala na din yung shift shock, smooth na shifting from P, R, N, D. So di ko na dinala sa casa for diagnostics. 3900km odo nya now.

mazda bt50 3.2 a/t yung sa akin, same engine and tranny as wildtrak 3.2 a/t.
