The ELM 327 apps on playstore will turn your bluetooth obd2 scan tool into real help, it will not only
read and erase codes, it can issue commands, change settings, etc. of course that is assuming you
know how to use it. Check it out.

I have this also(ELM) and basic lang nagagawa. Maybe you have a better app to be able to change settings or calibrate injectors.

Di ko pa masyado ma-appreciate yung truck ko, una first auto ko ito at lately lang din natuto magdrive, pagdadalhin ko sa mga mall parang lagi ako kinakabahan lalo na pag magpapark ako dahil ayoko makaistorbo sa mga magaantay sa akin para makapark lang ako.hehehe kaya plano ko weekends ko nalang gagamitin or pag may mga out of town. May magiging problema ba kung hindi madalas nagagamit ang sasakyan?

Sir System32, thanks for the reply. Regarding difficulty in parking, masanay ka rin. Magpalagay ka na lang ng rear sensor at reverse camera. Malaki talaga ang Ranger. Tingin ko hindi naman masama sa sasakyan kung gamitin mo at least once or twice a week. That's how I use our Starex (I use it in long trips however like Baguio). Mga 10 years na sya pero ok pa naman, no problem so far.

me naka 2 full tanks na ako... so far so good naman.. parang gasolina na tumakbo...

sa mga manual transmission 2.2 WT owners, nasubukan nyo ang paakyat na daan at alanganin ang takbo. tried so many times already since my house is on a hill top at ito ang complain ko. naka 2nd gear ako pag akyat tapos pag nag shift to 3rd gear halos di na tumatakbo dahil nasa 1000 rpm lang ang engine. balik ko naman kaagad sa 2nd gear at sumisigaw na ang makina kasi high rev pero mabagal ang takbo. sobrang bagal na parang pwede akong habulin ng tao'ng nag jo-jogging. so back and forths sa gear shifting at nag je-jerk na ang sasakyan.

is there any way to get over this drama? nakakatulong ba ang mga throttle boost controller? i'm starting to hate having a 2.2 and not a 3.2. none of my other cars behave this way when negotiating a hilly road at low speed.

I Just want to share. Just got back from pagudpud. Manila to ilocos norte using my wildtrak 3.2L. I am very satisfied with it, it has the power to easily overtake on the highway. Took it to as fast as 160km/h but too scared to push it further. The handling on the highway is like a car, quiet, smooth and throttle is very responsive. Diesel is 3/4s fulltank to ilocos norte. Overall, I'm happy with it.


Learned a lot in this forum. Thank you for the contributors in this forum.

Sir is this safe to our engine on long usage? I've heard of this technique previously but no one could confirm of its safety to the diesel engines of our vehicle.
What will be the benefits of mixing 2t to diesel and what's the ratio sir?

For me hindi dahil walang T6 sa Wyoming and ang luma tingnan ng plaka compared to the rest of the Ranger.

I could imagine that plate on a 70s-80s farm truck though..

Gusto ko sanang subokan, pero ang nabasa ko this is good for 2006 and below models. But since
nasubukan mo na, need ko pa maraming inputs mo.

Sir kung alanganin ang takbo pag akyat after shifting it to 3rd gear, suggest don't shift to 3rd gear unless the rpm warrants it, i just continue running it sa 2nd gear. Ako din nakatira sa hill top pero wala naman problema. I also have the 2.2 MT WT.
