Lahat kasi ang gusto yung bagong labas, kaya yan sinasamantala ng dealer. Siguro pag hihintayin nating matulog muna ng kahit six months lang yung stock nila, on the 7th month, 10% discount na yan.

We accept cash transactions naman, so there's no DI involved there. In lieu of that, maybe insurance, or accessories, is/are an option.

Mali pa rin bro. If a customer wants to buy a car in cash, without getting in-house insurance and any options, he should still be allotted a unit.

This is rarely the case though. Only happens with cars whose supply exceed demand. That doesn't mean that it doesn't happen to high demand cars - you can get a Vios with no strings attached because Toyota has forecasted well enough to know that they can sell thousands of units a year and have supply to meet this demand. It then becomes a buyers' market for that car, unlike the Ranger which is now really a seller's market car.

Anyone else find the Ranger's stock headlamps to be a bit weak?

Thinking of upgrading to Osram Nightbreakers.

With other cars, maliit lang yung increase eh. But maybe with the Ranger it'll be more significant since I think the stock bulbs are weaker than average.

Hope someone can share their experience with this

I installed osram night breakers plus on headlamps and fog lamps. There is a big improvement around 50%. Have them more than a year no problem so far.

Anyone else find the Ranger's stock headlamps to be a bit weak?

you know what.. those guys at ford they just add. a bullbar, hood protector and a rainvisor... ADDL. 55k NA AGAD.. pag ganyan may stock sila... PERO pag walang accessories wala silang available...

then mag dodown na ako 2nd week of march palang... eh kasama na daw agad sa 2nd price increase kahit mag down na ako before pa nila announce yung 2nd price increase nila sa xlt....

agree with paj4x4. was supposed to get one last year. instead kinuha ko hilux. di ako sisi. ako nman yung tipo na di nakikipag unahan dahil bago. saka wait ko muna yung mga lalabas n problema dahil new realease. maybe next year or 2016 n lang. hth

Bro confirm ko lang. So the units na may bullbar yan yun additional 55k? Wtf? Hood protector 3-5k lang yan and honestly Panget sa ranger. Rain visor 1.5k. So yun bullbar is 50+k?? WTF?? Naghintay kami isang taon para makaipon bumili ng xlt man lang, mahirap magipon ah. tapos ganito ang bagong raket nila? Ford seriously, antigas ng mukha nyo.

EDIT: already asked kay sir *jericho_j before ma delete yun posts if yun "bullbar ranger" ba is the ranger na stock na may 10k increase from last year or is it the one sir glenn manikis is talking about. And if the wildtrak 2.2 4x2 will be totally discontinued or gagawin nilang 2.2 XLT na may wildtrak trim. Please enlighten us dahil nakakainis isipin na naghintay kami para sa mas malaking gastos lang pala.

I havent talked to my agent in a while now so maybe i should ask if this is mandatatory (yun 55k na may bullbar) or if you could get one without it for the original price. Nakakafrustrate lang dahil nagiipon kami para lumiit ang monthly at comfortable kami bayaran tapos ganito naman bagong pakulo. We'd get another pickup if we didn't need the bed space ng ranger. Very convenient for what we will use it for. Bt50 mahal. Colorado and dmax di naman namin napupusuan. May appeal talaga yun ranger, pero not to the point na papayag akong perahan kami when we can easily get those aesthetic mods sa labas at 1/4th the price. Sana lumabas na talaga yun bagong hilux navara/strada para tumino na ang ford. Hihintayin ko nalang yun kesa maging tanga.

1) Supply allocation increases
2) DTI steps in (asa pa)

So either bite the bullet or pick something else. No use complaining about Ford's stupid policies because it's not as if this forum could kill its demand.

True. I just dont know how ford gets away with it. Isnt this illegal? Wasnt toyota penalized before for trying to milk potential customers of the 86? Or was that handled within the comany? If its not illegal, its still very bad business. You lose clients, you lose referrals, and you lose brand integrity. Di naman powerhouse ang ford pa dito satin unlike the other stronger brands.

How I wish we could do something about it now. Frustrating...

I heard that a new strada is coming out on December. Let's just hope it's true. Heard of horror stories of fords after sales anyway.... bibilhin mo palang nga pineperahan ka na, pano na pag may ford ka na talaga....

just my 2 cents.... sana wala ma offend.

newly arrived units daw eh walang HOOD INSULATOR... if you want one add ka ng 9k plus!!!

ang gagaling gumawa ng racket ng FORD... the ranger should be called FORD RACKET....

SA SUSUNOD... BAKA ang sabihin naman nila "sir yung bagong lumabas na unit may addl. 15k increase at walang kasamang gulong at pinto...!!!! add ka lang ng Php.xxxxxx may kasamang pinto na at gulong... sa casa naman yan galing at original... hindi pa ma vovoid warranty nyo....

Price increase on the XLT MT effective April. SRP right now is P1,089,000.00. No news of a Ranger with bullbar as standard.
Mahal ang price na binibigay ng FGP sa accessories kaya aftermarket na lang ang binibili ng customer. Hindi rin nag-stock ang dealer ng ganyan. Matutulog lang sa bodega yan.

Let's see towards the end of April for further updates on the Wildtrak 2.2L 4x2.

There are those china headunits na papalitan pati panel. Then yung screen magging mas malaki and taller. But kung magkano, aint worth it. Just wait till other brands release some.
