kmo, di pa din solve problem ng ranger mo?

Hindi parin unfortunately ... They called me up last thurs asking if on incline ba lumalabas yung problem etc etc sabi ko mas madalas siya pag incline. Then after that hindi na ako binalikan hehehe mamaya ill try to drop by sakanila ... Hassle !

Ang dami na palang parehas ang problema sa auto transmission. Hassle talaga yan. Swerte lang na sa manual walang problema.

meron din sa manual, same din powertrain alarm with cel with the resulting limp mode.

idala ko na din for diagnostics yung akin pag uwi ko. at least para mabigyan sila ng heads up na meron unit na lumabas yang problem na yan na sa foreign forums lang meron reports before this thread.

^ search mo lang internet, lalo na dun sa australian and thai forums. meron dun mga manual na ranger/bt50 na ganyan ang problem. 2.2 or 3.2, 4x2 or 4x4, manual or a/t may ganyan na problem. meron pag off ng engine nawawala naman, meron labas-pasok na sa casa di pa din magawa.

yan limp mode na yan and powertrain lights.. nangyari na din yan sa focus ko.. pero nung pinalitan namin yung pcv hose na may crack... hindi nanaman bumalik...

hindi kaya may maluwag or kunting singaw sa pcv hose natin or sa turbo...?

sir yebo... try nyo sir mag pa tighten ng turbo and or pcv hose pag nag pms kayo....

ive read from other forums.. hindi pala isolated case itong powertrain light and limp mode ng ranger...

iba iba ang cause meron clog intercooler, meron din pinalitan yung intercooler... others may singaw or may punit daw hose ng intercooler...

it seems like ang problems ay sa intercooler...

ang tanong ngayon.. yung xl model ba may intercooler? do they also experienced this kind of issue sa ford ranger?

akala ko yung unit mo sir. so sa overseas forums pala. Yung mga naka first hand experience sana with manual transmission na nandidito sa Philippines ang gusto kung malaman.

^ 3.2 4x4 a/t yung sa akin. umilaw ang powertrain warning lamp after nag-on ang stability control lamp, limp mode na siya. off ko engine then re-start nag-on naman ang cel. no choice sarado na casa so went home. off ko ng mga 10 minutes sa bahay then re-start nawala naman na.

mine also wala din mt 2.2.. 3k kms. palang...

regarding pala sa pag gamit ng 2t... the last time nag full tank ako hindi ako naglagay ng 2t..

so far... walang pagbabago... baka nga tama si jut placebo effect lang...

i think dapat gumamit ako ng db level meter... before and after...

Sir jeDi13, after powertrain alarm lights up siguro tumakbo pa ng mga 200 meters. After umilaw sya ok pa ang takbo nasa 3rd gear siguro yon hanggang bumagal ako sa intersection, ayon hirap na sya, parang ayaw mag low gear. Itinabi ko sya then I turned off the engine. After 10 sec siguro, on ko na naman ang engine, nawala ang powertrain alarm at ni-road test ok na sya.

sir baka need na palitan yung cable jack... ayan daw ang cause dapat palitan nalang nila...

magkano lang ba ang cable jack...

sir.. taga tacloban po pala kayo? hindi po ba inabot ng baha yung ranger nyo?

I try ko siguro Sir i-suggest on my next PM, loose connection daw kasi ng ckp connector and cause.

I am currently using 2t. Most noticeable sa akin ay pagkawala ng shudder during engine off. Other things remains the same. At saka tumipid sya consistent na ako nakakuha ng 12.6 then 12.8 l/kmh. Wala naman nagbago sa driving style ko.

Yup thats the exact problem that i encounter. Nakakainis lang is that it takes them forever to find or fix the problem. Before the off and restart engine works pero nung dulo hindi na. Mine came put just after 65km from servicing that same problem. Now its still there as we speak.

Sabi ko nga why not just replace the ecu and tcm which is causing the problem para alam na if yun talaga or not. Hassle e ... Sabi rin wiring daw etc its warranty just replace it with a new one para faster ang pinpointing of the problem... Haaay
