Hi guys! Just want to pitch-in the thread here

I'm getting my wife an XLT AT since she wants a truck this time around to carry her bike, gear, etc. Since we're in the Visayas, we opted to book at Ford Bacolod. I was truly surprised with their no nonsense policy to get a unit. They do not ask for DI if it's a PO purchase, no SA bribe to move your order up the line, no exorbitant insurance fees, in fact you can even choose your own insurance company for either installment or cash purchase.

I tempted their straight forward SA, Ryan Garcia, with a hefty bribe to move us up the order line. He simply laughed and politely said no. I asked if I can get a unit quicker if I got their in-house finacing or bank PO. He simply said that "it does not matter sir, we treat each purchase the same. First come, first served. Our dealership does not tolerate by-passing orders. You can move up the line if a customer cancels."



He continued with "Ok lang sir, No.4 naman kayo sa list for that variant. Give us a maximum of 2 months for sure maabutan din tayo ng AT."

My wife and I were pleased and put up the 25k reservation fee.

Guys, sa mga nagtatanong kung saan ko binili flares, Sa goldcars banawe po. Orig from thailand. 8.5k kasama install. Baka pwede pa itawad hanggang 8k. Look for bella and tell her referred kayo ni edward. Suggest you call her muna before kayo punta kase limited lang stocks nila especially on other colors.

Mga sir napansin ko parang ang bilis magpalit ng ford ranger ng model nila mula nung 2004 pang apat na model na pala tong ranger ngaun 2012. Every 3 years nagpapalit ang ranger ng model? Correct me if I'm wrong mga sir,

7413765. Ang butas po ay sa loob ng wheel well. Actually di siya butas kase parang may abang na holes yung ranger sa loob. Then of course may adhesive din sa side.

Sir tumawag ako sa gold cars kanina ubos na raw. hehe. next week daw may dating, bka marami siguro sa banawe na pwede pang bilhan.o baka next week na lang ako magpakabit :D

About the beltminder, nung kinuha namin yung xlt, gumagana yung alarm pag hindi naka seatbelt pero after 2 months, napansin namin di na tumutunog yung chime. Sabi sa casa, sa electrical daw cguro ang problem tapos wala sila technician sa casa

Just sharing if you thought you need this feature really badly.

Safety Belt Minder Deactivating/Activating

Preparation

1. Apply the parking brake.

2. Place the transmission selector level in P (Park)
-vehicles with automatic transmission or the neutral position-vehicles with manual transmission.

3. Close all the vehicle doors from inside of the vehicle.

Deactivating/Activating

Note: The belt minder can be turned off independently for the driver and the front passenger by performing the following procedure.

1. Unbuckle the driver’s safety belt.

2. Unbuckle the passenger’s safety belt.

3. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position. (Do not start the engine).

4. Wait until the safety belt warning indicator turns off.

5. Note: This step must be completed within 30 seconds or the procedure must be repeated.
Buckle then unbuckle the safety belt four times, ending with the safety belt unbuckled.
Release the red unbuckle switch completely every cycle.

6. The safety belt warning indicator flashes momentarily to confirm the belt minder status change.

7. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position. The deactivation/activation procedure is now complete.

Mas malakas talaga hatak ng 3.2. Compared to dmax, hilux.
