it is known naman in this site that 2t helps in the lubrication of our injectors and pumps... it cleans pa the internal of our fuel systems... then hindi din naman nakakasira...

ang dami din naman gumagamit sa old engines man or new.. different makes and models... and 99% ata puro positive ang results.... ang tagal na din nilang gumagamit nun... actually yung 2 other diesel ko... one is old school and the other one is CRDI vgt... it works din naman...

and what makes FORD diesel engines different naman sa other makes and models? parepareho naman crdi vgt yan... if it works for them, well why would it not work for us.... purpose naman ng 2t is additional lubrication lang...

tapos under warranty din naman ang sasakyan natin... he.he...

very noticeable difference that i observe after 2 full tanks is... ang laki talaga ng tinahimik ng engine... very smooth pa... parang GASOLINA na nga talaga tumakbo.. i dont know ha.. pero maybe its just me...

Share to lang our trip from Manila - Santiago - Banaue - Bataan and back

Picture * Ethnic Village Banaue Rice Terraces

Nice place but they ran out of food.

My ranger3.2L is one awesome machine. Lakas ng power overtake anytime hindi na aangal makina.

Fuel consumption is variable depends on how you drive. The fist part a was driving going 120-140kmh sa nlex sctex tplex 11kms/L. Sa mountain was over taking a lot using quick burst of power 9kms/L. Then driving home relax na 13kms/L

Sige try niyo lahat tapos post kayo ng feedback on what happens to your T6 after a year or so. Kung walang masama, then maybe it's worth recommending. 😜

Personally I have doubts because the 2.2 Puma engine is a fairly modern CRDi and this old-school trick might not work.

Am also wary of claims that it's smoother or has less smoke etc etc because it can easily be a placebo effect - we see what we think we should see.

siguro to really know kung talagang may pagkakaiba.. i need to drive and compare with a fellow t6 owner with mine... and use a sound meter...

on my part naman... as of now i dont recommend others to do the same... sakin lang hindi kasi ako natatakot masira t6 ko......... and IMO ang dami kong nabasa na recommended ito sa mga diesel engines... maliban sa mga high end diesel... eh IMO hindi naman high end ang engine natin eh... ( i find our engine pa miniscule or maybe it just me..)

actually sakin po.. nung unang naglagay ako... wala akong napansin na improvements... in my mind "walang pagbabago, maybe bec. its still new pa kasi" then on my 2nd full tank... sabi ko sa sarile ko.. bakit parang patay ang makina? bakit ang smooth tumakbo? pati nginig sa kambyo (MT) nabawasan... but there's no noticeable change in FC and power... sa smoke wala din pagbabago... may kunting usok pa din pag FLOORED.... on my first pms i ask casa if it is normal.. normal naman daw yung smoke...

pero baka naman po nagkakamali din ako...

T6 engine in All-New Ford Ranger was developed in collaboration with French company (CItroen/Peugeot) way back early 2000. It is the same engine (2.2L for XLT) being use in the current Land Rover Defender/X-type Jaguar, etc. AFAIK. It has enhanced torque(Duratorque) for hauling and off-roading. You can just imagine the power of the 3.2 engine...Ford Motor company has longer history in car development and researched as compared with Asian cars. It was claimed their products are "Built to Last". The information on T6 engine is an open book which you can check in the internet.

If you had 2T since first use, how do you know the difference vs not using 2T?

    Hi all,

I really need help. A few months back I lost my spare key, and this afternoon I lost my main key of my XLT. My Ranger is 5 years to pay and I am on its second year. Who do I approach, Ford or my insurance company? How much do I need to pay and how long do I need to wait? I hope you can help me guys.

    thanks

^Give them a ring to confirm. My guess is, since its below P10k way below participation limit, then you have to fork it from your own pocket. You will have to buy spare keys from ford, then casa will reprogram it for a fee.

This time make it four copies. Losing two is a habit.

So I tried putting 2T along with my full tank last night. 200mL 2T from Shell mixed with Unioil diesel.

No night-and-day difference for me. At first it felt quieter and smoother, but when I drove it again this morning, parang wala naman. Must be a placebo effect.

Will continue to monitor for any improvements over the course of a week or two. Then in my next fill up try ko uli na wala, in accordance with typical A-B-A methodology.

Baka pag hindi ka na nagtext-speak mawala yung lag.

But seriously, the Ranger 2.2 has severe turbo lag, whether with a manual or automatic transmission. It doesn't have much power below 1.5k rpm, then pulls like a beast from 1.5k-3.5k rpm.

With an AT though, you don't have to worry too much about the lag because the transmission is smart enough to pick the right gear to get you going.
