I think nagtaas po sila, im also in the market for a Ranger XLT 4x2, i was wondering about this: last two weeks I walked into a dealer and he quoted me P1,149,000 as the SRP of the Ranger XLT AT. last week, i applied car loan from a bank (BDO) and they quoted me P1,189,000 as the SRP of the same unit. I asked about the increase in price, they said that prices have increase and pag sa bank medyo tumataas daw SRP. talaga ba nag increase na ng price ang Ford, and by P40,000???

What could be a good explanation for the 40k increase that BDO gave me, if i read here that Ford officially increased just P10,000?

I proceeded na with the bank PO for a Ranger 4x2 XLT AT...hopefully makakuha na.

It's also possible the bank was trying to pass on the cost of DI to you.

Question lang sir, Cash mo ba balak bilhin? Ganun kasi nangyari sakin sa ford alabang, kung cash ayaw nila mag benta, kung Inhouse financing, may unit ka kaagad. Pero no matter how much yung DP mo, in three years aabot talaga ng almost 400k ang interest nila sayo. Sa ford alabang 30% DP 380k in 3 years free insurance worth 45k, LT0, and chatel fee, ford quezon ave.50% DP 320k interest in 3 years, pero you'll pay the insurance, chatel, and LTO, in all almost 400k or more
parin.

Ganito nga kalaki umabot yung interest na nakita ko sa isang website selling Ford Wildtrak. pero kung cash naman, kakahinayang ubusin yung ~1.5 million pesoses sa isang bagsakan!

After I read the smoke issue with 3.2 last week. Tried it last weekend sa nlex while my uncle tailing me from 0-170kph wala naman excessive smoke dectected hopefully wont experience that.

Mine says (9.3L/100km--Average) pero I did better than that (7.3L/100km) when I drive enough * lower rpms. These are from the vehicle computation hindi siya manual gauging.

Afaik wala pang 3.2 here in Philippines and wouldn't bother since 6-speed and medyo hassle but that's my preference.

Then if that's the case, get the extended warranty. At least you'll have 5 years of peace of mind. And installing HIDs will not void the warranty because plug and play lang yun. Only the horn's warranty will be voided.

Anyway, I test drove the Ranger this afternoon, care of Ford Global City and my SA there, Rona Marquez. The acceleration is better than the 2.8 Duramax engine of the Colorado, and that's only the 2.2 Duratorq engine. The gear shiftings are smooth, the diesel engine is more refined and has more instantaneous oomph than the 3.0 D-4D of Toyota, the diesel engine is very quiet, the ride is better than the Strada and Navara, and a bit better than the Colorado, rear legroom is huge, and I love the Voice command control! Also, when you drive it, it feels like you're driving a sedan. Handling is the sharpest in its class, and parking it is not hard given its size. The cargo bed is the biggest in its class right now.

I was back-tracking this thread, I assume you already have your 3.2L WT as of this writing?
They are not selling a 3.2L WT Manual transmission yet right?
As a noob driver, would you recommend an automatic over a Manual trans?
What are the pros and cons. Which has better Fuel Eff, engine lifetime etc.

I was quoting someone about 3.2 M/T and I'm pretty sure meron 3.2 since I personally have one but only A/T and Afaik wala pang 3.2 M/T here in Philippines.
