For Zuk APV G16A engine, BT223 is the largest it could handle. Gasket is larger than OE but spin-on base has the same diameter so no problem.

CB, which L300 did you try it on? Versa Van or FB body?

This one's the Mitsubishi OEM filter. Don't have the dimension for it so I can't really tell if how does it size up vs. BD28 vs. Bosch OM 036

I have the bosch OM 36 and BD28 side by side. BD28 is taller by 5 mm or something. Bosch is wider and heavier than BD28. Externally, somewhat better built or put together than BD28. Looked inside the OM 036, the bypass filter looks like a stack of tissue papers. I maybe wrong.
Has anyone already tried fitting Baldwin on L300FB? I took some measurements last time and i think theres a little clearance for an upgrade. The rear AC plumbing will hit the buttom of the filter.

As per Volmax, andami daw nagtatanong ng BD28 makulit daw yung lagi tumatawag sa Montero.

The BT223 should fit just about all Suzuki 4cly gas engines. Beats the heck out of a Vic C110.

^ Yup, same with APV. Notice the buttom of filter is about the level of the crossmember, going any longer is not recommended.

Bosch OM 036 vs. BD28 (don't sweat, its an new old stock from way before the "shortage").

Bosch has no crimping and has less holes. Its also wider by a bit vs. the BD28

Bosch has bottom canister plastic shrink wrap. Both have fluted tops. BD28 slightly narrower but taller.

Bosch is made in Korea (If I'm not mistaken).

The Bosch is probably a great replacement to the VIC C306 and if I'm not mistaken its also cheaper at Php 350 a pop. Solidly built and feels heavier than the BD28. I plan to put this in the L300 delivery with 3xx,xxx kms and replace that Vic C306.

<<<<:D BD28 not for sale or trade :D>>>>

Fits all Fortuner, Innova, Hilux 3.0 D4D, 2.5 D4D and 2.7 engines. The 2.7 you can actually go with the larger B34 or B233 filter as well.

And basically fits all Toyota 4cly and 6cly gas engines from 1995 to present.

for Innova with 2.0 gas engine, you can also use the bigger B233 filter.

Hi everyone! This thread proved to be some heavy reading, but it helped me understand more about oil and oil filters. Kudos!

    Some questions that I have:
    1. Is the BT223/ B233 also applicable for older units of Toyota Corona? Mine is a 3SF engine model.
    2. Also tried looking for cross reference for a B1446 for Isuzu Xwind (4jai1), it seems that the B109 will also fit. Can anyone confirm this? Also for the Xwind, is it advisable to use the Mobile delvac mx 15w 40? Saw one at true value priced at P1184 for the one gallon

    Thanks a lot!
