May 2nd, 2012 08:42 PM #1935Hi Sir Doc,
Maybe you can supply us some filters. I think a lot of member would buy from you. Just making some suggestion.

I noticed the engine response to be smooth even at 4,500kms with ZIC UP. This was with OEM oil filter only. I'm hoping for an even smoother response upto 5,000+ kms with Fleetguard LF3564. ZIC SD5000 (15w-40 multi-grade with CF-4 rating; Php 170/liter) was already rought at 4,000kms with OEM oil filter.

I plan on doing it as a hobby to keep busy, I retire from the US Navy after 20 years next month. I'll be in the Philippines 60% of the time.

The provincial dealers usually do not stock LF3564 since it's not a fast moving item. Order basis lang with downpayment. The dealer here in CDO took 4 days to get my order. The salesman couldn't even believe that I will be using the filter for a Strada. They usually sell the filters for heavy equipment & big trucks. Hehe.

the only bad thing with dealers/distributors knowing that there is a market for their items is that they will jack the price as soon as they can. just like what the previous poster said when Volmax commented that they might increase the price. i hope they dont since the forex rate is already getting better at 42.50 = 1. i dont see any reason why they should increase price since it will be cheaper for them to import it..
soy-based wire insulation. 1. cheaper than the petroleum-based plastic insulation. 2....
