binebenta na lahat ni dvldoc yung stash nya. madali syang stock ng baldwin at fleetguard and other quality filters. just pm him and am sure he has what filter you need for your ride.

Guys bmay Baldwin oil filter ba for Vios 08? And may mabibilhan na shop sa Banawe? If meron, where? Thanks. I've heard na 15w40 Caltex Delo Gold daw magandang "cleaning" oil? Planning to change kasi from Idemitsu 5w30 to this eh. Sabi sakin wag na raw mag engine flush kasi makakasama pa raw sa makina. TIA po. Sorry daming tanong.

Chiks, baldwin bt223 for toyota. Yan gamit ko sa innova and vios gen2 namin. As for oil, dont use weight 30 oil. I used the idemitsu eco oil before sa vios. Ang pangit ng response.

Thanks. Yup Idemitsu Eco rin gamit ko di ko masyado napapansin difference hehe. Okay na siguro yung 15w40 na Delo Gold, ano? No need to flush na rin ba? Kasi from FS oil to ordinary oil.

if you are going to use Caltex Delo I suggest you use Caltex Delo Gold Ultra 15w40 instead of Delo Gold. Gold Ultra has the "safe" amount of Zinc, 1200 PPM. Anything higher than 1200 PPM is not safe for the Catalytic Converter. Mas mura nga lang ng onti yung Gold (215 per liter, i just checked yesterday at a local Caltex shop here in Angeles City. Delo Gold Ultra is at 230 per liter.

Delo Gold - Zinc * 1500 PPM; API Rating CH-4
Delo Gold Ultra - Zinc * 1200 PPM; API Rating CI-4 ( Safe for Cat Con)

chiks, problem kasi with idemitsu eco, weight 30 is not suitable for our weather. im currently using Zic brand oil. it was posted here before na ok itong brand and affordable siya. dvldoc also recommended this brand. its the biggest group3 (semi-syn) oil manufacturer around the world.

bale Zic + baldwin combo gamit ko sa fleet namin. though 5k km OCI parin ako sa mga toyota namin.

The bt223 is 98% * 25 microns its nominal rating is 12 microns * 50% so it means on a single pass it will filter out 50% of particles that are down to 12 microns, The fleetguard has the same absoulute rating but they do not publish the nominal rating.

    Valvoline v106 is 98% * 20 microns

Valvoline vo106 is 98% * 20 microns. Nominal is 5 microns. You have to call But allmost to get the baldwin microlit media filters are the same rating.

i have posted those before, also the tread you referenced is 10 years old, not a good souce for up to date ratings. I called Fleetguard to get the ratings since they do not publish them.

hey doc, so that means the purolator ace is selling is orig? I was still wondering why the L14476 that i had in stock had no crimps and country of origin. i thought it was fake but now im thinking its an asian market version.

im still using BT223 for my toyota but i still have some purolators. stopped using purolator when their authenticity was questioned. hehehe

guys, quick question, sorry got a little confused reading about good oils in thus thread.

for a vios, what is the lowest TBN i
should use? I read the spec sheet pf idemitsu eco 10w-30 from an it had only 7.8. I was thinking its kinda low, is it?

is zic oil okay for the vios? What series/type do you recommend? I read its a type-III oil so it must be good. Where can i buy it and how much is it?

im done researching on the oil filters. im now researching on good oils that are relatively low priced with good performance. i plan to use it for about 8k kms only
