    doc, i also noticed that the baldwin BD28 is shorter than the OEM oil filter for the 4M40. should i worry on this?

    No because it has more filter media and it has a superior filter media, the height on a filter is not a big deal. It's the number of pleats a filter media has and the efficiency it has is the important part.

    Not to impressed with there synthetic oil, add package is pretty weak and so is the TBN

    Looks like there powermaxi additive is concentrated ZDDP, to bad none of there data sheets shows the percentage. They do unfortunately give it that BS nano technology marketing. But it's just ZDDP.

    just replaced the lower tensioner bearing on my truck and the oil pressure light shuts off quicker now (as when i was using a vic)...

    RT, the oil filter for our rig is BD28 right? how about the fuel filter?
