    Some questions that I have:
    1. Is the BT223/ B233 also applicable for older units of Toyota Corona? Mine is a 3SF engine model.
    2. Also tried looking for cross reference for a B1446 for Isuzu Xwind (4jai1), it seems that the B109 will also fit. Can anyone confirm this? Also for the Xwind, is it advisable to use the Mobile delvac mx 15w 40? Saw one at true value priced at P1184 for the one gallon

    Thanks a lot!
You will want to use the BT223 or the B33 and the Crosswind will fit the B109 and the B1446.

The Delvac MX has less than 1200ppm zinc so you can use it in both engines.

It also holds the cummins rating so it's a good extended oil change interval oil.

This is what the casa specifies for our 3SFE 2.0li EX Saloon.

Cross reference for the Toyota oil filter is B33 but go for the BT223 if you have the space in the engine. Sold the corona already so I don't remember anymore.
BT223 is taller and wider but the same thread (3/4-16UNF).

I have not found 4cyl gas toyota engine that the BT223 does not fit on yet, So it should not be a problem. Both thos filters have the

On a second note I got some different info on the BD28 than previously stated. I finally got the efficiency rating on the bypass sections. So the BD28 is 95% * 25 microns and 12 microns nominal (50% efficienent at 12 microns)

The real LF3564 is a amazing little fitler a bit bigger than the BD28 it is 95% efficient at 5 microns for the full flow and 95% effcient for the bypass section at 5 microns. The one sold in the Philippines is not the same. I showed Fleetguard the photos and talk to there tech and it should have Metal screen backed microglass filter media like I posted ealier.

I just happened to buy 17 of them today It's a sickness I know

Well I actually have no use for them at all, I got them for Tsikot members. So yes I plan to sell them I only got them because they are in high demand and these are literally the best filter you can buy in the Philippines as far a efficiency goes, You can't touch 95% efficiency at 5 microns. These are a easy 15000klm to 20000klm filter. It also has 2 the dirt holding capacity vs the BD28 so that's about 4 times more than a OEM filter. Same height as the BD28 but fatter like the Bosch.

The Fleetguard is actually extremal expensive and almost impossible to find. I would go with the Donaldson or BD28 if your going to get it in the states.

    Filter Products

I will be sure to post a pic so you can see what a real one actually looks like, (I won't be cutting it open) lol. Ask me about it in August about them. It's pretty much first come first serve. Please no PM's about buying them. When I am ready to sell stuff I would put stuff in the classifieds.

Thanks dvldoc/ number001 for the confirmations. Also saw a Valvoline CI and CJ rated engine oils in Ace Hardware. Might as well get the CI for the crosswind since it's less than 1K for the gallon (both are 15w-40 btw). Will use the Valvoline together with the Baldwin filter for 10K OCI (cheaper than the 1.1K Mobil MX Delvac)

As for the toyota and baldwin combo, still looking for a good oil for the 10K OCI. Any suggestions due to the older nature of the engine?

Oops, my bad sir dvldoc. So I can also use the Delvac MX for the gasoline engine (toyota)? Even if it's for a diesel one?

Yes you can, It does not have over 1200ppm Zinc in it so it's safe for a gas engines catalytic converter.

Doc, any comment on Mann oil filter? I have this model WP928-81 which cross reference to LF3564. Any idea on the material used and the efficiency? I can get this abroad and I want to try it.
    Thanks,

    Thanks,

MANN are good filters. You would have to email them on the efficiency. They do not publish them.

Yes that was me I ama bit of a hoarder so I bought all the rest of those from them. It's not a common filter so it probably won't be back for a long time. The BF7535 is the best fuel filter you can get for your money. It's 50% efficient at 5 microns and 98% at 15 microns. No other replacement filter can touch it. The Fleetguard is 50% at 10 microns, which is a good as OEM but holds more dirt and will last longer between changes.

A great way to boost any oil ZDDP levels up. 1/2 oz of this stuff to 5 liters of oil around a 400ppm bump. Cost 12USD in the states for a 8oz bottle so it would last you 8 oil changes. I use a eye dropper to put it in. It's also great for race applications and motorcycles.

I picked up a few since it's cheaper than the ZDDP Plus stuff I normally use which comes in a 2oz bottle.

It's made by Crane cams and it's called super lube, I have posted about this before but on another thread. It's used for break in oil for a new engine and is only run for 20 minutes and you have to drain it due to it's concentration. But in lower does it will make even weak API SN oil perform like CI-4.

As you can see it's basically pure ZDDP with moly. So dollar for dollar there really is not a better way to get superior friction protection out of oil. I get mine on ebay since it's so hard to find in the autoparts store.

I just emailed Mann Germany for details since the filter is made in Germany. Hope to receive their response soon.
