Shell Helix is a Group III oil redline is a Group IV like mobil1. If youn not running it more than 10000kms it will not make any difference.

Or maybe because my oilcatch can is not working well.. I checked the turbo and it has some traces of oil but not as many as before i had the OCC, seems youre right about crankcase vapor something has to catch it alongside with the surface of the can.. I installed a pleated media on OCC to see any difference.

    Hi 12vdc,

Is that a DIY oil catch can? Where'd you get it? TIA!

Hi Dvldoc, do you have a direct comparison of these 3 oils' Moly, Calcium, Zinc, Phosporous and TBN?
    - RP 15W-40
    - Mobil1 TDT (5W-40)
    - Motul Specific CRDI Diesel (5W-40)
If ever you will try the tdt, kindly update me on their comparison. Thanks bro

For those Motul 300V 5w40 users, don't add liquid moli to your oil, it aready has a ton of the stuff, No wonder why it's so expensive.

If you use the additive your just pilling on anouther 400ppm or so per 5 liters.

Motul 5w40 with 4000kms on it, as you can see such short oil change intervals on oils like this are a extreame waste of money.
