^ Delo Gold is APi CH-4 only, Ultra yung CI-4. Mas mataas additive package ng Delo Gold Ultra.

I have to agree, may halong group III sa chem composition niya eh pero Delo Ultra and Mobil Delvac MX is group II. But if hindi naman lalampas sa 10,000kms COI na plan mo, kahit saan dyan ang piliin, and do get the one that is cheaper and readily available sa'yo dapat para yan na gagamitin mo normally.

Ung Delo 400 synthetic ba ito kaya mas mahal kumpara sa Delo Gold and Delo Gold Ultra? And ung API rating ng Delo Gold and Delo Gold Ultra mukhang parehas lang. Additives lang ba ang pagkakaiba?

yung ZDDP pala pag ka under ka nang CI-4 category could range between 5-15% of the total composition of the oil...
I have read somewhere that Delo Gold ultra 15w40, was specifically made for markets with 3 set of categories as basis for the development, mainly Longevity/ Engine Protection/ heavy duty performance...

Okay, so ung Delo Gold Ultra, Mobil Delvac MX and Valvoline are all API CI-4 rated. If you are gonna rank them from best to good. Tama ba ito ----> Ultra > Mobil Delvac MX > Valvoline ?

Delo Gold Ultra/Mobil delvac Mx or any diesel oil with API CI-4 and SL rating. Yan ang maganda for extended oil drain itervals eh. Again balikan yung manual ng ride mo if designated na API SM/SN dapat. Yun kasi yung kelangan if may catalytic converter ride mo eh. Bawal dun yung mataas zinc which is marami yung mga API SJ/SL oils most of the time. But if manual recommends SL rating, IMO the best pa din mga diesel oils even for gasoline engine. Nakalagay din naman sa bottle nila yun eh.

okay thanks sir. this was brought up by sir ginnova and for the vvti engine, API SL or SM is recommended in the manual. So, I guess they could also use Delo Gold Ultra or Mobil Delvac MX for their gasoline powered engine.

For modern CRDi engines specifically for those korean SUV's which is powered by R-eVGT engine, will the Delo Gold Ultra/Mobil Delvac MX or any API CI-4 rated diesel oil work on that type of engine? o kailangan talaga ung mga fully synthetic oil like Mobil 1 or RP. I have read in other threads na dapat synthetic oil ang gamitin with that particular type of engine. Kindly advised. Thanks.

Sir, paki post naman kung saan meron available preferably within Manila area itong mga API CI-4 rated na diesel engine oil (mahal kasi sa Caltex and Ace):

    1. Caltex Delo Gold Ultra
    2. Mobil Delvac MX
    3. Valvoline

    Thank you and more power.

    BTT:
I have also noticed the Mag 1 All Fleet engine oil for diesel engine it sells for around Php330/Li and when I read the label I'm surprised that it is rated as API CJ-4.

tama ka diyan, madungis mga caltex stations, and mostly ang parokyano nila ay mga jeep and trucks na naka-park harap nila... tapos nagmumukang talyer yung gasoline stations...

hindi naman lahat ganun, pero its a generalization that i think has some basis... hehehe...
