Mineral , semi synthetic or fully synthetic?

I have also been using mobil delvac mx but il try the top 1 sdo in my next oci. CI-4 na rin un and im looking for at least 7-10k change oil. Sinusunod ko pa rin ung every 5k using mobil delvac mx.

How much ang Top1 SDO? Used the 20w50 before, I felt na hirap ang engine, masyado thick even with our warm weather, konti baba ng temp, parang honey na siya.

Meron ba available na 5w40 mineral motor oil sa local sources? Pwede na din sana yun TFSMO, wala lang ako makita PDS. Dahil sa natuto na read ng motor oil PDS, hirap tuloy decide what to use without knowing what's in it. hahaha!

Pag 5W-40 mostly synthetic na yan sir. Wala akong alam na mineral na ganyan ang oil viscosity.

ung DGU na lang gamitin mo sir or kung kaya ng budget und Delo 400.

I think Delo 400 have a lower zinc content kaya lowered ang wear protection. It is CI-4+ for vehicles with EGR Euro 2 emission control standard, much better ang DGU, mas mura pa,okey din sa catalytic converter ng car engine.6

800 ppm na lang yata ang zinc ng CI-4+ Delo 400, mas lower pa di ang CJ-4 Delo 400 LE, Euro 4 compliant para sa ULSD fuel vehhicles with DPF. Hindi na maganda para sa old gas engines, less wear protection.

Noted sir. I thought Delo 400 would be much better with the "+" rating for extended oil change interval.

1480ppm ang zinc nang delo 400. Sa viscosity index siya mababa vs dgu kaya much better for gas engines talaga dgu inho.

Di ba pag API CI-4+/SM, CJ-4/SN, puro environment friendly na, low SAPPS at ZDDP? DGU have less than 1200 ppm zinc content, how come na maging 1480 ppm ang zinc ng Delo 400? CMIIW, zinc ang binabawasan para hindi masira in the long run ang cat con, egr, dpf and other ecs ng new model engines.

Guys, pa-advise ng magandang oil for lancer mx 2004.. Give me some choices, to check if available kay suking auto shop. The cheaper the better... Ako kase magbabayad for my sister.. Hehhehe.. Thank you! ;)

Cmiiw, meron na cat con ang car mo. Try mo Caltex DGU or Mobil Delvac MX, both SAE 15w40, priced around Php230/liter, Korean oils Zic Up or Zic A, both SAE 10w40 priced around Php185/liter, all are cat con friendly and with high wear protection additives.
