    Kahit ako ayaw ko gamitin yan sa Grand Starex ko kahit na CRDi specific. Walang API rating for diesel. For gas lang nkalagay diyan. API SN

    May ACEA rating siya na pang-diesel ah. So puwede nga sa diesel cars specifically mga direct injection na commin rail.

    Accent 1.6 vgt requires ACEA B4.

    Do not look for API, this is for petrol.

    Anyhow Motul CRDi should work on your Accent.

    Ang API may rating for diesel and gasoline.

    Clarify ko lang ha, para kasi sinasabi mo na API eh pang-gas engine oil rating lang.

    Confuse lang kasi. Although ACEA B4 siya which is for crdi diesel engine, bakit walang API rating for diesel. Is Zic RV+ a better option for Accent CRDI VGT? Thanks bro.

    Yep, plano ko nga din gamitin yun bro and since mura lang naman siya eh every 5k kms oil change interval gagawin ko.

    Gurus, which is better, Motul CRDI specific which is every 10k kms interval or Zic RV+ which is every 5k kms oil change interval? Thanks

    Pinaka-magal kasi na certification ay API. Pinaka-mura naman Japs JASO then susunod na Euro ACEA. So since pasado na din naman sa acea na respectable din naman, nagtipid na imho.

    Shell nga ginagawa din yan sa helix line of engine oils nila eh. Performance and description of capabilitied parang API CI4 pero rating nila API CF lang.

    Ganun pala yun.

    that wasnt the weird part. the engine sounded different. I usually get magnatec from hyundai. last oil change I forgot to ask for magnatec. they prolly filled with conventional oil rom drums.

    clean drain oil means no sludge right?. hooray lmao

    maybe it had a grade different from what you are using now..

    clean drain oil...
    1. oil change too recent; oil had not enough time to pull in the dirt;
    2. vehicle barely used;
    3. oil ineffective in pulling in the dirt; maybe it was pure oil, without the requisite additives..
    4. no sludge...? dunno.

    I went to the shell supplier yesteday. they dont have the 5w40 shell helix ultra with pureplus. some shops still carry the non pureplus though. nice to see ferrari logo on their bottles.

Mineral , semi synthetic or fully synthetic?
