5w30 can be used in all weather applications. Hot weather climates in the US do not require manufacturers to switch to xw40. if youre vehicle has over 300hp then maybe you will need a xw40. if youre doing track days, thats another topic.

We have air filters that work even when its 20,000km old(some are rated at 10k though). The engine monitors how much oxygen is going in and matches a corresponding amount of fuel.

follow oil change interval from the manual. time vs distance considerations are there and easy to follow.

Yes pwede ang 5w30 sa weather natin but if daily driven, diesel engine and stop & go traffic, better to change the oil every 6 months or as specified sa manual of course. It's saying kasi na once a year na change oil and imho not suitable in the conditions i stated in a tropical country like ours. But sa US, maganda yan especially mahal ang labor[emoji16]

dexos2 is 5w30 and its used for trailblazer and colorados.

even the new forts and everests diesels use 5w30.

I use 5w30 oil for both my turbo cars. It's the recommended viscosity. Small Ecoboost engines require 5w20 oil but 5w30 is the alternative.

5w20 oil is not recommended sa weather natin. Tomorrow's temperature forecast will be 32/26.
This is the reason too why Berrima diesel specialists of australia are pushing for w40 oil in oz and here in RP.

The Ford cars released here come from Thailand. Unless they made a mistake, it won't be listed in the manual that 5w20 is the required viscosity for the Ecoboost engines.

Honda has long been using their 0w20 synthetic oil for their gas engines locally. We tried it on our 2009 City and Jazz before and it works as well as the older VTEC LEV 5w40.

Mineral , semi synthetic or fully synthetic?
